I'm so grateful that you finally got some sponsorship. Also happens to be something very useful. Relax, sitback and eat hoagies and tacos while working. .

Nice! Pretty sure I'd be napping if I had autosteer. For the first time in many years I've decided to do a little planting (veggies), haven't done anything but hay for years. Spent the day remembering how to set up my cultivator and tool bar. Lol been a while. The season is here, glad you're mostly ready.

I keep a 6ft chipping bar on my disc. Seems easier than using a sledge hammer.
@bryanginder59032 жыл бұрын
Ryan you are right on that, having a long bar can pop then rocks right out especially if you have then Deere deep cone blades!
@jamesmorrison18842 жыл бұрын
Looks great Chris the mistakes will show but who mind this is going great. Again well done sir

If that drive is your only issue with the planter then i still say. Good job. That hacking job you did to turn that 36 inch to 30 inch is impressive. I cant say that i wouldve even attempted that and im a bit of a fabricator hobbyist myself. Im building a welding wagon to hold my plasma/welder/grinders/accessories so it will be one trip outside vs 5 or so. Plus ive been working on making new loader mounts but not having any shop or sheltered area its ruff to mig weld outside when you spend 20 minutes to setup to weld 20 minutes and then spend 20 minutes cleaning up. The wagon should help a ton

Those foam sheets of padding work good for padding....like maybe for your boom channel where it rests on tanker

All those small fields are going to wear out those servo motors. 😹. Our land is the same way. Tractors spend more time turning then driving straight.

nothing like beating rocks out of the disks with a sledge. chipping bar works too and the old chain trick. that auto steer should work out nice, been planting all week down here in ct. hopefully be halfway through by the end of the weekend. then on to some chopping.

You still have to pay attention to field conditions !!! Few years ago I was working at a local Ag wholesale company and a young kid was driving Dry Fertilizer Spreader and he hit a wash out and wrecked the machine !!!

If you would use a field cultivator you would avoid your rock issues. At least until you hit them with the planter that is
