The song is about aging and the regrets in life, beautiful ❤
@Phoenix-One09227 күн бұрын
Not about 'aging'... what are you? geriatric? it's about memories of your youth and what being young meant to a person of old age about to leave or getting ready to and remembering sweet memories of what "could had been" and a few regrets...

I miss dance SO MUCH! I’m turning 57 in January, and haven’t been able to dance since I turned 29. (Medical problems) I started dance at 3 years old doing tap, ballet, jazz and gymnastics. I loved it. Being on stage just gave me life! I loved turning on music like this and just dancing. It’s a freedom experience on a different level than anything else in life. Enjoy your body, keep healthy mentally and, physically. Don’t push for a thin body, keep your body nourished, and feed it an adequate amount of good foods to keep it from running into problems. And APPRECIATE your freedom. You never know when it can all end.

You're amazing I love your dance 😍🤩 By the way the song is about the singer's past and his regrets, his fall in love and his young age. He says that yesterday he was 20 and that he was wasting his time. (It might be not right because I'm french so my translation is not exact ) You've done so much progress that's inspiring 🥰

Bend my back They arrive with heavy stomachs Fruit boats They come from the end of the world Bringing with them Wandering ideas With reflections of blue skies Of mirages Trailing a peppery scent From unknown countries And eternal summers Where we live almost naked On the beaches I who have never known all my life Than the northern sky I would like to wash off this gray By tacking Take me to the ends of the earth Take me to wonderland It seems to me that misery Would be less painful in the sun In the bars at dusk With the sailors When we talk about girls and love A drink in hand I lose track of things And suddenly my thought Pick me up and drop me off A wonderful summer On the strike Where I see stretching out my arms Love that like crazy Runs in front of me And I hang on my neck From my dream When the bars close, the sailors Rejoin their side I still dream until the morning Standing on the harbor Take me to the ends of the earth Take me to wonderland It seems to me that misery Would be less painful in the sun A beautiful day on a crunchy boat From hull to deck To leave I would work in The coal bunker Taking the road that leads To my childhood dreams On distant islands Where nothing matters Than to live Where the languid girls delight your heart? ur By braiding I was told Of these flower necklaces Who intoxicate I would run away leaving my past there Without any remorse Without luggage and the heart ur released Singing very loudly Take me to the ends of the earth Take me to wonderland It seems to me that misery Would be less painful in the sun...

The French translation is The Frog that lives a long life in a locked pond views the moon as far from his dream, la mer. A distance he to count the endless leaps of his days from one lily pad to another lily pad, where another year only casts the moon's light in distance of la mer. Ah, voyage a la mer, he longs the for un la amor, la mer...a distance, never he will see la mer, to only hop from one lily pad to another, solo, alone under the moon.

I agree. It’s the same with progressive jazz. It’s purposely random and nonsensical. I see it more of an exercise than dance.
@melowlw863815 күн бұрын
@@HombreDeLaNorte i havent heard of progressive jazz, but im starting to appreciate contemporary, mostly when seeing pieces that have now become staples of dance, where the choreography is clearer than maybe more recent stuff but even then some stuff looks a bit silly, so i just appreciate the physical effort it involves

A song originally by Charles Aznavour titled 'Hier Encore' in french meaning "yesterday again" which was recorded in english with the title "yesterday, when I was young" and sang in English First by Roy Clark and then by Glen Campbell. I love Glen but Roy Clark is a bit more detailed. I like both versions but in french is more melancholic and obviously more sad and romantic. Some of the lyrics: "Yesterday, when I was young ,The taste of life was sweet, like rain upon my tongue, I teased at life as if it were a foolish game, The way an evening breeze would tease a candle flame." Etc... Listen to both versions. I think I need to learn French and start playing these songs to Lull my girl to sleep or fall in love with love (and me, again...) Mon Coeur!! (my dear heart!) Viva La France..!!
