Are you sure the petrol wasn’t in the local currency? I think it’s the LEK, so 2.50 lek is about 0.25 euro…

My green card covers me for N Macedonia it was just Albania that it didn’t. Oh, and Turkey, getting cover there is for another video 😆

The only way a responsible person would overcome that insurance hurdle is to wait until you can get insurance or turn around and leave that country.
