As he got a good percentile in JEE, try to get into any NITs, instead of spending 20 L on a private university, I think it is better to join a reputed govt University. Moreover we cannot say the demand will be as high as now in future too because of penetration of GEN AI in every field. But if they can afford that much money and can sustain, then tell them to proceed.

As per my knowledge, many Data Scientists are struggling to implement efficient alogrithms for client due to lack knowledge in Statistics. So, try to learn technologies related to Data Science and build up your profile, which could be suitable for IT. Later, you can apply for jobs. I don't know you are working for which kind of firm in NBFC. However, if it is Stock market related then based on your interest, you could do some financial certifications and build up your career in that area as well.

Good question! In any healthcare based company in US, IT department plays a crucial role. Currently, they are looking for AI specialists & Cybersecurity specialists. For freshers and other IT technical people, the openinings are very less in this year. If you want to apply directly from India, then its very difficult to get a job in US based companies.
