No Legacy Boot Options in BIOS, Boot Device not found in Boot Options HP

Fix "Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed" Error: bit.ly/39ujom7
I added this video again and it goes faster to the solution and has better MIC sound here: • No Legacy Boot Options...
This is one of the newest versions of HP 250 G7 Laptop computers.
The BIOS is updated to the newest version and it does not have Legacy boot options. The only thing that you can do here is to disable secure boot.
So I tried to create a Windows 10 bootable USB flash drive with Windows USB/DVD download tool and the laptop did not boot in windows installation mode regardless of what option or combination of options in BIOS I tried.
The solution is in the video.

You are a legend brother. There is no legacy support in newer HP Bios and Google search result and youtube in general is blind about it. All they have is those Bios which has legacy support. And without Legacy support, You cannot see USB to boot, and then there comes this method. Much appreciated

Bro I couldn't see my drive also but I simply went to boot menu it was in boot menu it won't show in bios and I did install it like it . .. even having legacy option disabled it worked

It should be noted here that when trying to boot from a UEFI flash drive with a modern HP laptop with no legacy support, the flash drive needs to be created in the NTFS file system, not Fat32. If the flash drive is made in GPT but with the Fat32 file system, the HP laptop won't see it.

Great video, very informative, thank you. The only thing I'd like to add is for newer HP laptops like mine there's also a known issue of the Intel Optane memory getting corrupted or due to a hardware issue which doesn't allow this bootable USB to recognize the hard drive. Therefore you have to include the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) drivers for the specific laptop within the boot USB so it will see the hard drive during the recovery process. The use of the Rufus utility seemed more effective than HP's own system recovery process so I appreciate you having shared this video.

@@vodka_parm4629 too late now but for next person, download the RST driver for the laptop/pc you have, unzip it and copy to your usb installer and then load driver when the imaging is at the part when it's looking for the drive to load Windows on to and then just search for the driver on the USB

Your laptop may only support 32bit OS. Download win10 32bit. make bootable usb with rufus but make sure to select partion scheme to GPT and target system to UEFI and file system to fat32. Then in your laptop just disable secure boot. Then try re-installing windows.hope this helps

I have a problem after updating the Bios from the official HP site..after installing the new bios on an hp 250 g3 (Insyde F.49 3/7/2020) i can no longer access in any way the bios with F10 or from inside windows...laptop works fine boots windows 10 64bit but i have this problem! Recovery seems it doesnt work too! It boots to windows. I can only boot from windows to startup menu and access only F1 F2 F9. Pressing F10 the laptop freezes and needs to close. F11 is not working too. I need a solution!
