It does take practice, but stick with it. The key really is "less is more". Don't try to tackle too much detail until you've gotten the hang of controlling the water and how the paint and water react with each other..

Now...if I understand this correctly (and I've only watched the video once)...you never actually put any white color on those "white" petunias? Correct? Oh my goodness! It's just mind boggling! Absolutely beautiful. You mentioned that once watercolour paint is dry it wont reactivate, is this also true for the Gansai Tambi watercolour paints? Im hoping to get some soon. At the moment I have only been using Distress Inks and somtimes you need to layer but cant so easily. Regards Liz.

I haven't tried too much glazing with the Gansai, but it is definitely more stable than the Distress Inks. You should be able to layer it.
