Been coming back to this entry month after month (for all 2 or 3 months this has been out lol). I contend that it's way harder to write original lyrics for an already existing instrumental track than it is to create a full instrumental from scratch, since you HAVE to have the lyrics match the predetermined beat (though I could just be a moron). That makes this all the more incredible. The vocal blend is perfect, and the way the song builds up (especially in the second verse leading up to the chorus) gives me chills every single time. Not to mention that the art and the video are unbelievably stunning. This is as perfect of an entry as one could ask for. Incredible job to everyone on this team!

Thank you! I was a bit disappointed we didn't do better since I believe this is one of the best things I've ever managed to create musically, despite the scoring/placing being much lower than I usually get in CBs. I spent a very long time work on the melodies/harmonies, writing the lyrics (not even in my own language, but one I'm studying), and everything else that is involved in making an original. Also side note I spent hours trying to do the whistle note in the background of the last chorus, which may play a part in why I feel I worked so hard on this LMAO. I want to make a song from an instrumental of my own creation, but my instrumental-making abilities are really limited with the current software I have. Anyway, thank you so much for this comment! Means a lot ^_^

@@WillRubert it takes work for sure! Despite the limitations that you mentioned, the entry turned out incredible. I personally have it as my favorite R1 entry and possibly my favorite entry from the entire CB! The scoring is just a number at the end of the day. You, and all of NO:LOGIC, made something incredible, and no placement or scoring can ever change that fact!

I love the groove and rhythm of this a lot! It gives a whole lot of weight to it. The build up and power is amazing and then that slight pull back in energy for a breather only to ABSOLUTELY SLAM at the end. My god vocalists belting with full harmonies is SUCH A PLEASURE to listen to.
