My mommy passed away when I was 9. I am 12 almost 13. My mom was a big follower in Christ, and I am trying to follow her footsteps. My parents divorced when I was 5 and my dad stopped being a Christian then, when my mom passed, my brother stopped and my step-mom and step-brother don't even believe. Growing up being the only Christian in the household is hard, especially when you have parents mocking you for your beliefs. I remember my mom would always pray with my brother and I, and when I pray, I always ask God to forgive my mom and I for the bad times we had together. I know my guardian angel is watching over me. My Papa Lear- my mom's dad- passed away January 19th this year from Alzheimer's. I know he is watching over me as well. I try to live every day the way my mom would want me to. At times, I feel like I can't even have a simple conversation without her. Please pray for me to stay strong and my family to become Christians. I was crying late-night praying to God for forgiveness.... I was listening this song and crying and I have seen a beautiful image that I broke many ties and chains that hold me back from God and I ran towards jesus. Nearly 11 years i was a believer! I did what everyone did, go to church, pray, sing and even played music instruments and led worship in the church. I was a "good" christian. To be brutally honest it was only 5 years ago i started to know what it meant to be in Christ. At the lowest point of my life one morning i was on my bed, suddenly the room started to fill with an unusual presence that started to make me cry and weep with such conviction of love. Christ appeared to me, He said ".. It's I who loved you first..". I cried and cried and before He left He gave me something. I was on my knees and an incredible and unexplainable peace came upon. I have never felt anything like it before. I cried even louder and i asked God "What is this, it's so unusual?" He answered " it's MY peace, not of this world". He left. These 5 years i have been devoting myself reading the scriptures and He has even asked me to pioneer a small work. Christ is beyond christian duties. Christ is the SON of God and He wishes everyone of us become a son like Christ.

I was so bad with public speaking. I have taken courses and therapies but it didn't helped me. I've being working for 9 years and everyone knows about my weakness. I was molested by my own cousin at age 8. I was so confused and lost. I couldn't understand how or why someone would do that to me. I grew up hating men, I couldn't be around them without having an anxiety attack. I was a broken girl. I felt worthless and ashamed of something my cousin did to me. I had nightmares almost every night about my cousin doing things to me, and this affected me in such a scary way. In my first 2 years of high school I suffered from depression because of my social anxiety. I was so scared to talk to anyone because I thought they were all gonna hurt me. I then found God. Actually, I went 4 days without food/water or any fluids, and I felt great, except for constipation. That 3 days is inaccurate. Maybe 3 days in a desert where the heat is beating down. It’s more like 7-10 days in climate controlled places.

I've been going to therapy for my mental health off and on for 14 years now. I've been going consecutively for the past 10 years now. My therapist who I had about 3 years ago (moved to a different practice) told me to listen to this song. She was a strong Christian woman who knew I have been agnostic who blamed God for putting me through the battles I went through. I have seen at least 5-6 therapists in the last 14 years. That therapist was AND still is my favorite therapist. If I had a vehicle, I would make the 45-60 minute trip just to see her every 2 weeks or so. I'm glad I listened to her when she told me to listen to this song. I've lived by it ever since. I went from being Atheist to being Agnostic. I quit having fear and keeping my mouth shut about everything. I stand taller after listening to this song on repeat for awhile. I have more confidence in myself. I even stop being angry at everything and everyone.

For so long i have lived with depression and anxiety. i waa raped at 11 yrs old by a neighbor that was 16. Ever since then i have never felt the same. But 6 yrs ago i met a friend that totally changed my life and she actually showed me the surrendered life in CHRIST and i had never seen it before in real life. I grew up in a church family and my mom is a evangelist but there was lots of condemnation and all these religious things you have to do. That turned me off to GODS presence because of it. But recently since October 2016 my friend has come back into my life and i reconnected with GOD!! I am actually happy again and SMILING again!! I have never felt loved and closer to GOD in my life! i ask for prayer to fulfill GODS plan and destiny for my life.

Praise God! I am so happy that you found a way to the truth of God´s love and that his love is healing you. It is really so sad that religion has been deceived by the devil and taught so much lies about God and therefore so many people are unable to receive emotional healing from God because they see him as hard, angry and condemning.
