And you SHOULD do a whole show on that topic. But i kinda disagree with chuck's take. Argentina exports it's best to the world. But it still will have Argentinians in their best eleven. Same with Germany an others. England is a vast outlier. It's not the norm. It's the top league, with a billion teams in a location the size of California. Because it happens in England doesn't mean it's good.

Yeah the English would have mostly foriegners on their list but the English don't win anything. What i'd be curious is if you look at the leagues of Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Germany, France, Italy and did a best eleven, first, are they like MLS with ZERO, domestic players in the top eleven, and second, if not do they get anywhere near half domestic players with a best eleven. Those nations win World Cups routinely. England doesn't so being like England isn't the goal i'm aiming for. My guess it's some you'd still have lots of foriegners but most it wouldn't be zero. I'd bet there's some Argentinians in the best eleven in the Argentinian league. I'd bet there's some Brazilians. I'd bet there's some Frenchmen. I'd bet there's some Spaniards. I'm not positive, but my hunch is they are developing more high quaity players than the US does. And to that point, MLS is a lower standard to reach to be one of the top players. No shade to MLS cause i watch it. But that's a fact.

Premiere League is considered the best becose 90%of media houses are from England.if you look last 20 years premiere League teams won just 7 trophies.La liga teams 28. La liga teams vs premiere league teams won 70%of games and draw 20% . 51 wins for La liga teams against Premiere League teams and just 11 looses... you can look England National team too,nothing won for last 30+ years. Even Seria A is better then Premire league.
