Lol I just started a couple weeks ago and watched your older tutorial series which helped me immensely. After 80+ hrs over Xmas vacation I'm sitting on over 200m, 3 s class ships loaded, S class freighter loaded. Several frigates some living, full exo suit, several farms and bases, all glyphs, settlement doing well. You get the point. This dudes content WILL put u on the path to space stud! Good stuff my man! Just bought this game for ps5 last week after years not playing it (had it for ps4). I binged watched this series for 2024. You should do a series making a big base and farming etc for people that have done the begging. Aka I’m having difficulty getting material for the advance worpdrives

material for other warp drives you need for get the blue print easiest buy them via nanites at the anomaly form the ship blue print guy, once you have the blue prints you there 3 cheap ways to get the materials. 1. you build them in order or 2. get lucky from the random chest. 3. dismantle B grade upgrades with for the right materials. depending what you feel takes less time for you. also hovering over upgrade tells one also what resources they give if dismantled. lastly you could buy or find a multi tool, ship or freighter with the upgrade you seek and move it to the one you want to use it on but it will the most costly way to get them. finding random can if unlucky take a very long time.

For recharging your mining beam, if you fail to gather enough carbon, you can punch plants to get more carbon. Figured this out on a new save where I got too excited about gathering ferrite dust and dihydrogen & ran out of carbon. Had to punch a tree to get my mining beam restarted! 😂

I have around 2000 hours in nms. It's a great game. And this is a great vid for me as well. I have max money, max ships all S, an S freighter (the star wars one 😂), finished all the stories, a robot staff, a settlement, been to about 10 galaxies and have all base parts and quicksilver items plus all expeditions done. Why is this a great vid for me? Because I can't remember it all. They changed so much and added so much. Could you always teleport to your freighters? Did your frigate missions always call you on the radio? This is a great refresher, thanks.

I only have about 500 hours in NMS, but I watched this anyway, and I learned that I should pay attention to more settings! The visibility during storms just kills me, I didn't know I could tune it! WOW! Thanks for the great videos, Jason.

As a brand new player (since two weeks ago), can you make a point to talk about things that have been deprecated. It's been a nightmare trying to figure out how to make specific bait for creature farming just to find out it's been removed from the game.

I've started several saves from scratch and never started on a planet that had been discovered by someone else. However, once I started venturing to other systems, I found a lot of them had been visited before. So I think the game has some "starter" regions.

I hate to say this, but scan everything to get units, so get the scanner made. Mining cobalt is dumb; you must mine/get sodium/oxygen/carbon/ferrite and its variants first.
