No Man's Sky Next Finding archived base terminal finally

6+ hours searching and over 20 planets i finally found it. Why make it so hard

Congrats man. I found mine within an hour or 2 but didn't have to travel to a new system. Spent around 30-40 navigation data. Quite frustrating process imo

Inso much as one can now have a base anywhere, the purpose of this is what exactly?

How many nav data used before finding a habitable base

Mark Horn I had 10 I would input all of them into 1 location until the unit would stop finding structures. If no habitatal base was located I would restart from last save move a good bit away and restart this process. A friend found his on his very first search me I wasn't so lucky.

Wait cant you just build one anywhere whats so special about this one?

700mobster now you can but right after Next launched our bases were archived and this was the only way to retrieve your old base. I had a friend who searched for 20hrs before finding 1. Most people gave up and just started over.
