Sentinel ships are the strongest to me...4 supercharged slots are usually close together to make a killer Infra-knife attack !

Yeah I been hearing the infra-knife is an amazing weapon to use. I’ll have to get that upgrade for my pirate ship save. I’m pretty sure my main save but I’m not 100% sure.

Nice guide I like your attitude and relaxed style. So many people making these videos think they’re the next “thing” and so full of themselves. Just one point if I may though. When showing something, literally pointing at it, don’t be too quick and flit away from it. I realise you’re keyboard/mouse but give it a sec on the thing you’re showing us please. You can color all your indoor freighter rooms and windows like inside my freighter is All White with light gray it gives you a feel of openness. Makes it feel really open plus I do use no hallways or doors unless it's to go outside out back and see all all my fleet out there pretty cool.

13:20 in My guy just recently went from like a Bclass freighter to a Sclass DreadNaught and it let me know that if I didn't move inventory over I would loose it just like it asks if I want to keep the structure of my "build area" or go with what the new ship has, and it let me move inventory over to the new ship.

Just to add on, you can move everthing from the inventory over but leave 1 piece or you wont get prompted to move everthing and you could lose you entire base. this happened to me right after the freighter update. I didn't know you supposed to leave at least 1 item when you get a new freighter. if you clean out the inventory then you dont get prompted at all.

@@peterhansen7068 I've heard this before but haven't been in this type of situation until the above. But I think this is no longer the case. When I did/discover this I took everything and I still have my set up. Might be different w/large and complex set ups. Like my bases, I keep them bare bones

Best advice to go to your settings and change things to make game slightly easier.. I turned off Permadeath !

Do you have a Autophage staff as your guy would have been seen carrying it. Awesome with 4 supercharged slots together to have awesome damage ! Finished Expedition Cursed and killed the Big Boss in a minute with my staff. That was my 1st Expedition !

I've never been able to figure out how to save the civilian ship. However, I did find that if you immediately take out the engines of the pirates' flag ship, then do trench runs on their shield generators and power cores, they will surrender their ship to you. That's how I came to have mine. I'm having a hard time finding frigate upgrade parts to buy schematics for new room typea.

Hey Quint I would recommend going after the nexus mission on the anomaly. And the space station mission giver left of the stores on the lower level. They will sometimes reward you the upgrades for your frigates, and all other gear, Capital ship, your starship and your actually person. Yeah that’s what I have heard I saw some videos of other channels showing there strat on how to take down the pirate dreadnought. It’s seems like the trench area is the best.

My Dreadnaught strat. is take out the main engines and then the BIG guns on top. There are some in the back middle and front of ship. For Salvaged Frigate Modules I mostly do missions out of SpaceStations. I goto a station goto the guy on bottom left room and check the list of missions there and take any with SFM as the reward then goto the guy, not sure what he's called, on the top room all the way to the right where you can get stuff and donate stuff due to your standing with that faction. Some of them will have some available. I hear pirate stations have a lot of missions w/SFM as rewards too.

So I'm realizing there's a difference between frigates and freighters. I understand you get one freighter (capital ship), but how do you get multiple frigates?

So sometime when you jump to new systems you will see a capital ship with its fleet. Some frigates will have a symbol above them which means you can buy them if you want. You will have radio broadcast come to you when you get close to the buyable frigates. Then you can decide what to buy. Each fleet will have a bunch of different frigates that you can get. I totally forgot to mention that in this video.

Visit different space stations to buy S class ONLY modules for anything. Find a good space station, buy, exit and go back to buy. Repeat....

Send all those C class And B Class Out Everyday There class will increase and eventually become all S Class. I'd start with all the C class and B Class . Then move out to your A class. I have like 7 huge Organic vessels that bring back Amazing rewards. I always send a combat ship with all missions.

@@MarkOneRonin This game is such a gem, especially for someone who loves the planets the sky galaxys milky ways anyways Being able to fly around in it and go to different planets and have a capital ship. It's like the absolute coolest thing ever. I'm currently on my freighter now just messing around sent out my fleet Always remember every part you ever put down on your base. Always check it with the same button. You use to color everything else like if you're playing on PlayStation one of those 2 buttons above the controllers. For me, i'm on xbox, so it's a little tiny button next to my left joystick, and above my d pad. Most likely almost everything your base computer Your save beacons, your refiners all that stuff most likely can always be changed The color can be changed. Even on Lights and rocks and statue, things and light fishers.The color can always be changed. That'll open up a whole new excitement for you.

I have some other videos, but i'm going to try to figure out how to put a video of my capital ship, my fleet, my squadron, the inside of my freighter, maybe one or two of my bases. I just don't know how to make videos yet from my game. I still gotta learn that.I certainly know how to upload a video, though to my youtube. So maybe I'll have to just take pictures or something and make a little video out of that. I certainly want people to be able to see when I talk about the way you can color your freighter And how you can add your own ships to your squadron. Like me, I just got some beefy ships. All S class of course.

I recommend using OBS or stream labs both can allow you to record your game direct or record your screen. There lots of good videos out there for beginners on videos. @@MarkOneRoninmy brother in Sky, how are you gonna make a whole ass guide video about freighters and not know that you can level up your frigates?! You should also always be sending out five-star fleets in order to get the most rewards per day. The only reason not to is being limited on frigate fuel, but you never should be because you can just buy di-hydrogen jelly and tritium from pilots. Manually harvesting it is literally the worst way to do it, followed only by your di-hydrogen jelly refiner loop.

They all transfer over ive never lost anything when getting a new ship. Ive just transferd it all to my new ship. Plus if you have really good S class ships and you want to put them in your squadron you can. Like i have 2 hot rod fighters and 2 sentinel ships i found. So my squadron is so strong. I love this game only been playing since the end of january of 2024 and before that it was over 30 years since i played a video game of anykind. I love all the exploring this game has its so so fun.
