Instead of selling the gold you can turn it into chromatic metal, along with silver and Indium (Regular Indium). Putting 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 indium gets you 30 chromatic metal. 30 chromatic metal sells for 2,640 units. If you sold the 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 indium instead you would get 671 units instead. If you subtract the silver and indium and only look at selling the gold, your gold is 353 units per unit of gold. Thats a 2,300 unit difference. You will have to set up 2 additional farms and have the indium drive but hey its a lot of credits. I saw you have a 14,500 storage for gold, if you turn 14,500 gold into chromatic metal with indium and silver (thats 14,500 x 30 = 435,000 Chromatic Metal btw) that is 38 MILLION units in one harvest and all you gotta do is babysit a large refiner every 10 minutes or so for about an hour. Compared to just selling the 14,500 gold (around 511,000 units) that is a big difference.

For nanites I buy all the suspicious arms and tech boxes from every pirate system I see, then open and sell them. Easily 20-30k nanites for like 20 min of warping around

For real, I used that one to get an S tier core, and it works. Just be sure to have millions if you're buying from stations.

Good way for the money to get for suspicious arms is farming Sentinel ships, you also get modules to sell for nanites

On my main save, my starting galaxy had a paradise planet that I put my first base on, and a frost planet which I have a big runaway mold nanite farm as well as a glass farm. It was the easiest, best start ever. I also still make a chlorine farm as well. It is cheap and easy to get off the ground early in the game. All you need is a medium refiner and a planet with some water.

Tip for the mineral extractors is to put them on top of each other, so that there is no density fall-off. The only limit is the skybox. Any of the activated metals also can be worth a lot of money as well. (when placing them on top of each other, switch the camera to build mode so you can reach much higher easily!)

About the Sentinel Ships: I have noticed a little trick that makes farming them even easier! Before scrapping the ship, see if you can dismantle the Sentinel Cannon in the ship first (if not, just put a rocket launcher there, a ship is required at least one weapon system). Dismantling the sentinel cannon gives you a reverse mirror, so you dont have to hunt for the mirrors ever again for this.

About mining. Don't know, if this was a case previously, but on Worlds update, what I've seen, mining systems will combine together within certain distance, with or without connecting them phisically. They will combine, if miners are too near to each other and same goes for storage. Vertical stacking still works tho.

On hot spots there is a small area for max output, 5-8 extractors with there being one in the very middle of the hotspot getting 100% efficiency. Now, depth/ height doesn’t matter here allowing you to make multiple levels of these 5-8 extractors works at maximum efficiency. You can build a tower of extractors working off almost 100% efficiency with 100+ extractors. Build high

So I might have found a very very strong glitch, basically you can scrap ships infinitely all you have to do is after you scrap a ship quickly switch over to a different ship and for some reason you keep both ships, I made billions in like 10mins by selling an S class sentinel ship

I have a gigantuan activated indium farm that produces 2.2k an hour and stores about 203k. I added more extractors but the rate isnt increasing very much so i just added more storage. It takes almost 92 hours to get full. I want to expand my activated emeril farm and i need to find more spots to farm activated indium as well as having more mineral farms that are not just existing to make crafting easier. I had 860 million units doing this and spent all of it on ship inventory upgrades now im trading items waiting for the farms to fill up again. I went from 500 thousand to almost 13 million units. The problem with selling minerals is it ruins the systems demand for that mineral so you always have to be traveling to new systems, but you have to do that anyway for the story. Demand for activated indium in some of the systems im in is -79%

Is it better to do this with gold? I built a high grade indium farm between a mineral deposit and an energy deposit, with around a hundred or so extractors. Got about 100 million units everyday. Kinda took the fun out of everything when money becomes non issue.

I’m an activated indium billionaire and I still find fun in the game… I just go around building random resource mines… luckily I built some gold mines for solar panel supplies for my activated indium mines

Erm, the deep mining spots... they aren't points but lines, vertical lines. You can build more extractors but you have to place top one of top(above) another, in a skycraper-like structure. Putting extractors to the side makes them weaker (the efficiency drops fast with distance). Might as well put 4-5 in a tower and get more depo buildings. Again, keep in mind that the "spots" you find are actually lines going up up and down, building more extractors to the side is a bad idea. There are other clips on youtube describing this.

I didn't realize it was that easy to farm sentinel ships. My method is to 1. Start shit with sentinels. 2 Fly in to space and fight those ships. 3. Blow up sentinel command ship. 4. Go to dissonance beacon. Rinse repeat.

Storm crystal runs , fleet mission for your freighter, bone hunting , chlorine refining , all pretty low effort ways to make a few millions quickly . Sentinel ship farming is the best way for big money I've found . For the expert builders maybe its stasis farming or fusion igniter's but it probably takes patience.

storm crystals is my grindy way to make units, a stack of ten is 2.2 million which is a better rate than selling buried technology which nets you 1.5 million for 30, for nanites i sell the freebies from the guilds, and also have a base next to several curious deposits, a stack 9,999 gets you about 2000 nanites when refined

You exactly don’t get units, you get scrap worth the units mentioned, which can be sold later to get the units, One thing tho: you can take the scrap to different galactic terminals to sell it, you need to check the demand, if it’s more you get more units for the scrap for something like valuing millions, even 1-2% + can yield you decent gains

Is no one but me aware that you can make money far faster? all you need to do is sell your ship in the space station, quickly change ship to another one, and you'll get the parts (money & Nanites) and retain your ship, super easy I can make 70 mil and 1000 Nanites every 10 seconds

Or u could burn an item in a portable refiner that makes nanites, keep reloading till u get a lot of nanites, then place another refiner(or many), on top of the original(whilst also being careful not to delete the original that has the nanites in it), proceed to delete the many placed refiners, and collect # of refiners X nanites in original... $$$$$$

waste of time for so little units, if you need creds there and now, yeah. ok. find a spot with a A or S class energy source on a paradise world, make a farm. I made an 8 story 5 x 5 checkerboard base with 44 domes / level that creates 35,200 of each kind of plant. Find C class power nodes or better for 2x sulphurine, nitrogen, and radon. 1x Mag Ferro, Diox, Parafinium, Emeril, Gold, Silver, oxygen, cobalt, uranium, ammonia, I think that's it, you can make the phosphorous with diox and pure ferrite. and oxygen + condensed carbon to make infinite condensed carbon. You can sit in space stations and buy plates off of people flying in for your mines. this will take a long time, maybe 10-12 days But once it's set up you will make 2.8 billion / day off the farmed and processed products. Nanite farm is to just kill sentinels from the 3rd wave and collect the glass, analyze it and make ~ 12k nanites / hour. Mould is annoying to farm and you need to find it or reload your game repeatedly. Or find a multitool with 3 super charged slots to get the extra mats mined boosted.
