I basically stick with two ships; a fully upgraded fighter wich i use to travel around and a cargo ship with max storage, in wich i store components. Its just faster to call a ship to access my inventory.

you do know that you can access your container from any part of a system if you have them on the freighter right? you just put the inventory teleport module into the freighter, i do that, thats the main reason to have a freighter

@@Lux77899 I do have stuff in containers and the freighter but if i land in a new system its easier to call a second ship with the most needed building components.

Another fun way of farming for a sentinel interceptor is to start a fight with the sentinels in space and to beat every wave! The sentinel capital ship will warp in on wave 5 and you'll need to beat this bad boy, it'll drop an AI Fragment that will lead you to a crashed interceptor on a Dissonant system.

I've had slightly more success with exotic ships by getting out of my ship at a 'new' space station and reloading the restore point. If the exotic is going to come, it's nearly always in the 1st wave in my experience. Today that got me the 1st calamari I've ever found in 1000+ hrs. Trading posts have a bigger through-put of ships so more chance of finding an S, but the exotics can take ages to turn up, if at all. I use a save beacon to mark a harmonic camp. Quicker to put up and take down, and I'd sooner spend a minute flying back than 20s on another 'warping' loading screen...

I look for exotics because they are alway S class, even in 1 star systems. I rate them a lot less since solar and sentinel ships were introduced, and almost always scrap them for nanites and expansion augments. I'm keeping that ultra-rare calamari, though.@@Newftorious

I dont know if any has said this yet but the ships are in a rotation depending the space station usually after awhile the sames ships will show up at the space station

I haven't played in a couple of years. I have a save with 130 hours, but I started a fresh adventure since they added a lot of stuff. Forgot how much fun this game can be, but damn it is a time accelerator lol

Similar thing here. Landed on some random planet, and while wandering over a hill I was face-to-face with a 30 foot tall insect. I was like, damn, I don't remember these.

I have 12 exotic ships. In order to get great performance you have to search for x mods mostly for hyperdrive and pulse drive also Shields some other categories you can get lucky too. I have 318 ly hyperdrive mods and some crazy pulse drive ones too s class doesn't have them this high it can be a grind finding them but not to bad. Got 38 shield protection mods also. 8:02 8:02

I just started playing a few weeks ago. I have a A class freighter. 80million units a base next to a portal, 6 ships I got the yellow solar ship you showed at the start of the video yesterday and have it up to a 700ly jump distance already. I dont think ive done so well in a game like this before. Im still figuring things out but im making seemingly good progress. Id like to hear what others have accomplished in game and how long it took them. Im around 50 hours

Bro I found my first exotic on my newest save and I bought it and then instantly after a second exotic cam in exact same ship but twice as good, but at that point I had spend all my money and couldn’t get it. Was shameful

I'm pretty early on in the game and farming Sentinel interceptors using the method you described - Do I need to go to a different system to find higher class ships? Every one I've found so far has been C class.

Well to answer my own question, I just found an A Class interceptor on the same planet, so I was just having some bad luck for a while I guess. Made a lot of units though!

For dissonance systems you can see it in the description of the system in the galaxy map ex: watery or fiery. For outlaw systems you have to get a conflict scanner and turn it on. You’ll see which ones have the most conflict

The game allows for 12 maximum ships, with 6 simultaneously housed per freighter. But what is the max amount of freighters and does this impact my max ship properties? In other words, if I have 3 freighters, does the game allow me to have 18 ships? Or does the game not allow players to have more than 2 freighters?

12 is max and you can only have one freighter

I hope you are kidding. Anyway i would recommend starting an new save game. Then stick strictly to the "tutorial missions". These missions will guide you to your first ship. I really hope you are kidding xD Cant imagine somone just walking around in NMS for Months :D

Holy sh*t, bro! You need to check out some guides! Try Dr. Incompetent on KZbin. He has a series that is incredibly slow paced and thorough. Sounds like you could use something like that if you've really been on your starter planet for months. In no time, you'll think this game is amazing and be kicking yourself.

I came here to see what the differences are between ships types... and you're here to teach people that the difference between ships is "You can upgrade them." Wow, gee... thanks for that. Only gathered 40million creds so far to buy an S-class... but why would someone clicking on a video like this even know they can upgrade their ship? :-P You really should rename this clip "How to upgrade or find a ship in a game full of them, that teaches you all this naturally within a couple hours of playing." Hey.. it would be a long headline, but at least an accurate one. "The differences don't matter, so choose what looks good to you." Again.. it seems silly that I came here in the first place.. just to be told I can choose what visually appeals to me, like I didn't already know that. Sounds like an attack on KZbin for thrusting results I didn't search for on me. Or on me for deciding that I'd finally settle and see why YT thinks the most clickbait versions of everything are what people actually want to see, and if it's actually relevant to what I searched for. I'd agree with the first one, but.. either is a weird flex, and the latter definitely doesn't make any sense. I'll hunt for what information I want. @@lelouchvibritannia7702 Yeah but that's the point is that there is no "best" ship in this game. Everybody has different tastes and the stat bonuses between the ships is about irrelevant. Especially since you can't double stack modules anymore in the tech and inventory like you used to be able to do.
