Most people won't understand but I know where he is coming from. People only get better and work harder if they are belittled (with occasional compliments ofc). If you continuously praise someone for their work, the majority of the time, they end up slacking off. Of course doing it at his concert was a bit much but he doesn't just talk out of his ass. He does it to help them and compared to the first few episodes, it seemed to be working as they were taking this show more seriously and working to improve their faults.

As a side note, I really hate that comment about "I think you have more potential than Jooheon." I mean, it would be one thing for him to say, "I think one day you could surpass him" or "I think you did better." Aww, I really fell for Wonho during this episode. I can see why Shownu might be a better leader overall for Monsta X though. Wonho pours all of his heart and soul into the group and I feel he might put too much on his shoulders and feel too much pressure if he was the leader. Kinda like when Mino was the leader for Team A in who is next but when the leader switched to seungyoon mino was able to relax more.

You overcomplicate things so much. He never said #gun shouldn't be a rapper and he never said his rapping was horrible either. He actually complimented him in a way. After #gun's first performance, Mad Clown said #gun can't rap well; but he was still one of the judges who put him 3rd place. Before the 2nd performance he said #gun can't rap well, but still puts on a good performance so if he improves his rap he'll be really good. Of course as a rapper it isn't nice to hear, but #gun show'd he was good in the 2nd and 3rd performances impressing the judges even more. He has every right to say his opinion. This is a survival show you hear facts not praises. Look at how much smack K-Will talks.

To all the people giving K.Will a hard time: he really cares about these boys. Watch the next episode, he sobs when one of them is voted off. Sobs. And each time before and after that, he gets emotional about them leaving. So maybe he brought the mood down a bit with his comment (which honestly, isn't even that big of a deal, I mean, if that's "rude" then some of you guys are in for a very rude awakening in the real world, and also, the translation isn't accurate to what he's actually saying so people need to take that into consideration), but he's putting their positions into perspective. I get that reality is harsh but it cut deep. They worked their butts off, they practiced all the time, they tried and the night they went and enjoyed his concert, he bit at them. He might've meant it in an encouraging way and he might care for them with "tough love" and all but it was humiliating. I'm dumb and I don't speak Korean and I only read the subtitles, but I got the generalization. Whatever he said hurt. And it was in front of A LOT of people. Some people dream big, we all have and we get kicked down for it sometimes but as a person that accomplished his dreams and succeeded, he should know how painful his words were. Wonho's team definitely deserved to win. They're they underdog group. All members are extremely talented and I'm proud of how far they have came and what they have achieved. Wonho worked extremely hard and I really like how much he did with his skills ^^ is an amazing group too. What saddens me to see is that people are already picking groups (basically favorites) while there's me still getting to know everyone and their talents, not wanting anyone to leave and not feeling right that now there will soon be 9 -.- :( anyways, #Gun looks like Jackson to me XD who is your bias(es)? My fav is Seokwon, he just gives that innocent, timid aura of needing to be protected, and only for him to explode with his personality. I would love to see him on shows (like Weekly Idols with #Gun and JeoHeon(?). They are the three most out going to me). Not to mention love his singing-he blew me away last mission with his singing skills. Cause he was last I thought he wasn't so good, but I still liked him,and prayed he would show his talent soon, and he did. I asked, and he delivered. #Gun is my second fav. His rapping is just so...different. I like how aggressive but soft and mellow it is at the same time-he's the better rapper to me. And his personality drives me crazy. He is sooooooo cute when he smile. I swear the cutest thing on this show is him. He will be a fun idol-I really want and can't wait to see him on shows. Third is Wonho, I find him very attractive. Sadly that is all I like about him. I think he's a good dancer, and sexy(not a talent, sorry), and a really hard working guy-I now know after watching this show. His singing is good too, but....his look is the biggest factor for. me The only person I ask to be in this group is Seokwon. I know for a fact #Gun is secure, and Wonho has a high probability, but my big ears baby is on very shaky ground. He just can't leave. He is just air!!!

I understand that it's everyone's own opinion on whether they like or dislike Minkyun, but it's sad to see everyone ganging up on him based on the few minutes they see him in every episode. I'm not a huge fan of him, but I don't think it's okay to say such rude things about him that could and probably will hurt him badly. Of course, saying you dislike his voice is totally fine, but wouldn't it be a little nicer to say it simply as "I'm not a fan of his voice" or something? I'm sorry, it's just a little painful to see alll these people saying "kick him out" and "why is he still here". Segyero did better than Ohjangnam vocally. They blended well together and their stage looked like a professional stage. Each member was also able to show their own skills. I can listen to their version of Caffeine more comfortably than I can listen to Ohjangnam. And I LOVED that Vasco was jamming to #Gun . I hate that Mad Clown always blasts his rap style. While Jooheon raps harder, #Gun 's lyrics have more depth to them and they infiltrate your soul. Both of these performances weren't very strong, but Segyero was more pleasant. No matter what the results are though, #Gun and Jooheon have to be on the same team.
