28:51 Sand Witch is THE counter to loatheb tough. It sets your spells to 5, but after the loatheb effect ends, they are reduced by 5. So it would make all of your spells in hand cost 0 the following turn.

I run C'thun the Shattered in my standard Battlecry/quest shaman and it works pretty well. That is to say, the 5 cost spells are great for corrupting circus medics, etc... because I haven't played C'thun itself in nearly 50 games so far.

I think you'd be better off taking this deck into a more aggressive direction. Swap rolling fireballs for firelands portals, and i also added the 2 mana card that draws 2 cards for both players, which is stronger against control. I also love reno for a board clear and late game strat.

That odd paladin misplayed badly by chucking down the Steward and Warhorse Trainer for basically nothing. But I kind of disagree that they failed to play around flame ward, other than that. An odd paladin wants to trigger a flame ward on four unbuffed 1/1s, that's a great result for them tbh.
