though I had some problem with sea water It also kzbin.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

A friend retired as an archaeologist at a Big Ten school. She said a particular janitor was a great asset to her. One day she had all sorts of odds and ends laid on a table from a site survey dig. He happened by one day and recognized so many pieces and parts, as this KZbin presenter is doing.

Nice hunt guys. I’ve been interested in MD for several years now but never did anything about it. You guys inspired me so I bought a legend last year and have never looked back. There aren’t a lot of really old finds in NW Ohio but I did find a British half cent anti slave token, circa 1790, less than a mile from my property. Thanks for all the great videos you post!!

My parents owned a luncheonette candy store in Morristown New Jersey. When I was a little boy, this is going back close to 60 years ago. The founder of the seeing-eye dog foundation used to come in our store to buy newspapers, and my folks would ask him questions about the seeing eye dogs, and how he started the organization. The original seeing eye dog is buried up there on that property.
@QuarterHoarder Жыл бұрын
It’s great that you remember that. I was looking into the history of seeing eye dogs and read that the original founder, named Morris Frank or Morristown, starred with 6 dogs. They were all German Shepards and he named them all Buddy. The original “Buddy” might be the one buried there.
@joesmith-es1zy Жыл бұрын
@@QuarterHoarder The Seeing Eye is an organization that trains seeing eye dogs. They moved to Morristown in the late 1960's, so the tag is probably from the 1960's or 1970's.

I'm afraid I may never find it again, but I read "on the internet" that a crotal was what they called the ringer inside the bell. In that case, all round bells enclosing a "crotal" would be a crotal bell. No difference between a sleigh bell and a crotal bell, in other words. It was actually a pretty big deal when a guy first patented the method of casting a round bell with the dinger already inside. Previously they had to be made in two pieces and fastened together. If I can find my source, I'll let you know. I believe though that it was a bell manufacturer's page, so not just some yokel like me making it up.
