It’s a great message, and I love the vids, but Katy Perry only “made it” when she agreed to sell out on her values, and that is not a good message for anyone, especially for impressionable minds who follow her. She agreed to sing lyrics and participate in videos that certainly do not please God in any way. That kind of success is of the kingdom of man, and of darkness. If she had held out and persisted in gospel music, and refused to kick God aside in favor of a career, and eventually “made it” that way, that would’ve been a different thing, but she’s a Pied Piper leading her fans off a cliff. I don’t deliberately engage in the kingdom of man unless I have to, (no TV, news, radio, etc., no concerts, I avoid spiritual chaos like the plague), so I don’t keep up on “celebrities”, so I can’t say if she’s renounced the whole thing or not, but she certainly didn’t “make it” by standing on the word of God for her career, but by caving into agreeing to be exploited by an obviously Luciferian music business.
