what always intrigued me about this series is that comparing travis from the first game to the third; they are almost not the same person anymore. The change from travis being a man who only wants the riches of the world and the benefits to becoming an assassin not caring about the people around him, to a family man who wants to be with his family and protect his friends is crazy.

The game I can think of that came close to No More Heroes insanity and over the top violence is Mad World. That game was crazy and had some insane kills especially for the bosses. I'm surprised there was never a crossover between those two games.

3:05:30 The trick with FU is that a lot of his attacks can be directly countered by the Death Glove skills for both damage and a free stun: You can throw the massive death ball back using the throw skill. While standing in place with the shockwaves, the Death Kick teleports inside his barrier to hit him. The Death Rain can hit him for passive damage while he's raised up and using his hair. And of course, Death Slow keeps him stuck in the recovery animation to let you keep laying into him, even get a second suplex if you do enough damage. I found FU to be one of the series' best fights since unlike the rest, you're meant to ration the skills and keep the pressure on; he's a blast when you do. The extra damage from the counters really undoes the slog, even on the hardest difficulty.

Little tip for the drop kick attack in the last phase for fu, you can read when he's going to do the drop kick attack, when there's a few seconds where he crouches, use the time slow down move, it'll slow him down, then use your drop kick attack and it'll take a huge chunk of his health and daze him so you can lay into him

Man watching this is so nostalgic of how I felt playing through the series in the emulator and more recently on PC for NMH3. It reminds me of the good old days of wacky third person combat games that focuses more on fun than story.
