It's so true, the route you get working for an Amazon DSP will drastically make a difference in whether you enjoy the job or not, even though you're still doing the same tasks. I've gotten routes that made me love the job & other routes that made me feel like I hated the job & got me thinking; did they test this route out at Amazon corporate before assigning it to DSPs for grabs because this sh*t wasn't making sense to me LOL.

Sometimes I think there is a method to the madness at Amazon corporate and sometimes I wonder if it is all madness. I am sure Amazon has amassed gigantic data sets that show the average time it takes to complete a set of stops in different types of apartment complexes in the burbs vs downtown areas vs rural vs suburban residential. So, when they create the routes, am sure they have an approximate idea of how long it should take. I just wonder if they adjust their expectations based on how long it actually takes drivers to complete routes.

Been watching the back log since i just found your channel, and yeah if you do better than others they push it on to you because they dont want to deal with the headache of giving it to someone lazy. Best to not try to stand out anddo exactly whats the minimum required of you per hour and pick it up slightly if they bring it to attention. Do what you got to do and move on to a better job, after all they can easily replace you if you complain about the work load. If you like the job thaat much try to get your cdl and apply for UPS. Hell even with just the cdl so many more opportunities are waiting. Good luck to you all i wish yall the best.

Sounds like somebody didnt like you and they made it hard for you so that youd quit. Youd be surprised how some of these people in management teams could make you feel like your welcomed and make it seem like they like and the whole time they want to make your life miserable. 1:00 sucks that dsp dont have basic rules to follow.. like my dsp said they had a bunch of ppl quit at one time, and they gave each person that stayed a route and a half but my boss wrote them a each a personal check for $100 everyday unless you had a normal route but these dudes were pushin 210-250 stops a day plus overtime like brooo thats money af lol

Good decision to leave I have done this job through two dsps over 2 and half years and seen everything. Got driver of the month and frontrunner awards and been a lead trainer for my last dsp. I warn people stay away from Amazon if you value your mental health and sanity. Just left after my dsp was playing bs games with our paychecks and doing shady ass shit.

Amazon gave DSP too many chances to grow big or go home..DSP don't have too many great drivers in their team, some drivers quit the first day, the first week, the first month...! 2. Amazon need a strong DSP and a strong team to handle the packages....! And there some new DSP on the waiting list to move in the Amazon warehouse in different locations. 3. Some DSP are moving outta California because higher taxes

Sounds like they were trying to give you the amazon fitness workout 🦾🤣🤣 But fr, it's a bit weird how they handled that both on the dsp side as well as on Amazon. I would almost think it would save Amazon more money to offer the drivers a severence instead of expecting people who just got told they were fired to still go out to deliver packages, or at the minimum just tell them to help clean up the warehouse or something to collect a check. Unfortunately you are an extremely positive and motivating individual, one of the reasons why I do watch and support the channel despite not working at Amazon, but company's will see that to exploit your work ethic instead of bringing everyone up together. I do believe no matter what your next step will be after your break that you'll achieve great things no matter what it is.

Dsp is contracted by Amazon,so they should pay the drivers that money. Amazon has nothing to do with the drivers side. I actually work for Amazon them dsp’s and drivers at DDA8 are rude we come in at 1:20am they don’t come to work until like 9:30 am our day be half over then we have to deal with them rude people.

I'm still w/ amazon on the corporate side just not the delivery side anymore. only half of my RSU's vested a few months ago and when they did, yea I cashed them out patiently waiting for the rest to vest.

I'm currently working for them and I'm going to be leaving soon the most toxic place I've ever worked at in my life I am currently being a victim of harassment and it's really bad I'm talking about 30 40 people and management does not give a damn literally laughed at me when I tried to tell them what was going on and then I called HR on the phone and guess what he laughed at me to the worst company you could ever work for
