That actually blunders a queen as well, because the king is in a mating net and the only way to not lose is by blocking the check with the queen (where it can well, get captured by the pawn)

@brainha5747 that doesnt blunder a queen. Opponent has king d2. Then simps queen probably can never get back opponents king side. This isolates simps bishop which will run out of moves or be taken. Without the bishop opponent king can safely retreat to the king side. simps rooks and knight sit the whole game out as his queen runs out of moves. I don't see a pawn break that could save the position

Interesting that in the last Drawback run, Simp accidentally gaslight his last opponent due to a mouseslip. Here he got gaslighted because the opponent ignores the early hanging rook (even if the opponent reveal later on that he can do rim-to-rim move in 8:38 with his bishop)

"Rim" and "edge" are not the same. There are 4 edges, and 1 rim. The rim is the perimeter of the board (combining all 4 edges).

Third game: the bishop moved from rim to rim a couple moves before the queen capture. I'm not sure if the opponent was trying to lull you into a mistake with the earlier queen move or misunderstood its own drawback.

With that last game it unfortunately states that you can start and stop on the rim. The King could take because the move both started and ended on the rim. Why they never took the rook with their queen I don't know, it might be the other tiles in the way, it might have been a blunder. Either way, the King was in the outside, moving to the outside.

whaaat I thought the catch will be that "rims" are considered only the a- and h- file, not the 1st and 8th rank (i.e. the opponent will be able to infiltrate his back rank and capture the king there...).
