I prefer impeller driven pumps for bilge pumping applications at least for small boats because even though diaphragm pumps are self priming and quickly build suction, the valves are easily prone to clogging, plus they are very inefficient due to the check valves and plunging motion of the diaphragm

These aren't meant for pumping out in emergency situations. They are for keeping things dryer down there.

Thanks Tom for the great video! I have been wondering how to deal with issue on my 26" OS. Just wondering about your pump mounting location. Is the fuel tank behind the mounting location? I don't want to drill to deep and find out. Thanks

Thanks Bul’, We’re no where near the fuel tank. There is only a void space behind that cabin stringer. Your fuel tank is in the middle of the rear deck. Good luck!

Where do you buy this dry bilge?

First things first, why is all the water in there in the first place and make sure you address that.
