I was impressed too! I thought I'll have to practice before I can make perfect cakes, but now, they came out lovely from the first try! Just keep the speed on the low and adjust little by little if needed!

I ordered this Etcokei yarn winder on Amazon on Black Friday. I, like you, have many balls of yarn in my stash that could be better wound into a cake. It is at the post office now. I will let you know how it goes, and what I think of this item.
