I've been burnt out for almost a year now. It's a struggle to draw because I don't feel like my heart is in the right place, motivation is hard to find nowadays. While I was searching for a video to help me because I decided I can't keep living like this, I came across your video. And Im glad I did. Because you're right. At some point I've begun putting pressure on myself and I cannot keep up with it, and I am that person who felt entitled to that motivation. You're video also helped me realize that i cannot be motivated all the time, and I have to accept that. There's so much that I learned through your video, and I'm so thankful for that! Hopefully I can get through this and feel happy when I make art. Thank you ^^ You have a new subscriber :"))

I feel lighter nowadays, and I think with time I'll once again be fully happy with my work. Thank you for asking :")

I really wasnt motivated at drawing now and i do suck at drawing now. All the energy left my body and i dont feel motivated to draw and be better by practicing. I only though of drawing as a hobby instead of a future job. Because... I know being a psychologist is best for me and my family. But i always wanted to be an artist but i have to be a psychologist for the sake of my future. The only thing i want to be is an artist but its just a hobby is what i thought. So i lost motivation until i watched this video. Thank you kesh. I'll keep doing what i love evwn though they may not be any use for the future or they may be useful for the future. At least I will have happiness sharing my art and drawing beautidul pieces of art.

I usually miss a few words when I listen to videos in english (since it isn't my first language) but in this video, thanks to your clear voice and controlled pace I was able to understand everything while I was drawing! You have made points about motivation that a lot of people never do, and the hardest part is to accept to have lower ideals to not "turn off" that flame of motivation. Great video!

I used to love art, it was my only talent. And then my disability got worse and now I am sometimes not able to draw at all. Or even pick up a pen. This severely crushed my will to push myself to do anything. I stopped drawing, I stopped playing the recorder and violin, I stopped doing sport. I now haven't drawn anything in 2 years and though I haven't gone worse, I haven't improved either. Most people my age are now way better than me and I blew my chance for an art career. I dread picking up a pen, my creativity has faded and I cant write stories or create characters anymore. I have to re-learn how to do art now, not the technical skills, but the mental skills it takes. This is a huge task, but I will be able to do it.

what I have realised about motivation is that “motivation, what so ever doesn’t last long (whichever quant you want to choose- mins, days , months ... )... after sometime motivation doesn’t matter( unrealistic standard as Kesh said it) You need to get going ...and you will start doing things that you want to do irrespective of buzz and boom cycles. Hope I am making some sense here. Wrong Goals... yup I am stuck there in other constellation, not realising where’s the North Star..my sky’s foggy... BUT my mind says “YES YOU ARE TELESCOPE... everything is clear” Btw 0:13 LOVE THAT
