Muhammad actually is in the bible in this verse, Mathew 7:15-23: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. @akiheavenly6 In the Quran and Bible, both religious texts clearly indicate that name-calling is sinful behavior that contradicts their respective teachings on respect, love, and community harmony. In Christianity, it leads to judgment and spiritual consequences, while in Islam, it violates principles of brotherhood and respect among individuals.

DEUTERONOMY 18:18 (18 Similarities Between Moses and Jesus) (1) Both their births were foretold (prophesied) (2) Both were born at the time when the official government policy was to kill infant boys (3) Both were adopted - they were stepsons (4) Both were born Israelites. (5) Both commanded the attention of the Israelite Nation (6) Both rejected kingly lifestyle (7) Both mediated and represented God to their people (8) Both had the “Cloud of God” and “The voice of God” as witnesses of their authorities (9) Both had the “Word of God” in their mouths (10) Both ruled and saved (11) Both were rejected at a great cause (12) Both were unequally matched among all prophets (13) Both were the founders of a new dispensation by ways of miracles (signs and wonders) (14) Both exercised power of God over forces of nature such as wind and sea (15) Both were shepherds to their people (16) Both lived in Egypt, and came out of Egypt to serve God (17) Both were lawgivers and leaders. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. Matt.21:43, the nation is not Rome but Ishmael. In John the paracletos can only be Mohammad, this is clear in the Greek text. A Spirit of-Holiness is ever in the feminine gender, hence one uses the term, bat kol, when referencing a still, small voice. The first clear paracletos was Abraham, after him, Moses. John uses the language of Deut.18, how he will speak. Dear Christians, stop worshiping these clowns from Edom. Thyatira's children come to a sticky end in Revelation, just as David cursed Israel in the psalm and in his last words.

@nunya54 in terms of islam and its arguments against jesus in the bible? Yes..yes it is. You quite literally can't prove Jesus isn't God, and you can't prove he wasn't crucified as even historically, that's exactly what happened. Its air tight im the fact that you can find Jesus in the Old testament and even Jesus himself says the torah is about him and that david calls him Lord.
@nunya54
@nunya54 18 сағат бұрын
@@HobbsAnimates We quite literally can prove Jesus isn't God and wasn't crucified. There's literally no evidence he's God or died and if he did die, that is a very definite proof he's not God. There's LITERALLY, in a book from God, God speaking himself the proof that Jesus is not God and did not die. Perhaps you don't know that evidence or you don't accept that evidence but your or anyone's lack of knowledge or acceptance of that does not change the fact that it is evidence. Even committed Christian scholars admit there is no evidence of Jesus being divine. Even the earliest Christians did not believe those things about him. So who exactly are you taking from that he was? James D.G. Dunn, Emeritus Professor of Divinity in the Department of Theology at University of Durham, Minister of the Church of Scotland and Methodist preacher says "But if we are to submit our speculations to the text and build our theology only with the bricks provided by careful exegesis we cannot say with any confidence that Jesus knew himself to be divine, the pre-existent Son of God." Moses and Jesus share several similarities, both in their roles and life events. Here are some key parallels: 1. Miraculous Birth & Early Life Moses: Born during a time when Pharaoh ordered the killing of Hebrew baby boys (Exodus 1:22). He was hidden in a basket and saved. Jesus: Born when King Herod ordered the massacre of infant boys in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:16). He was taken to Egypt for safety. 2. Chosen Deliverers Moses: Sent by God to deliver Israel from slavery in Egypt. Jesus: Sent by God to deliver humanity from sin and spiritual bondage. 3. Spent Time in Egypt Moses: Raised in Pharaoh's household in Egypt. Jesus: Lived in Egypt as a child to escape King Herod. 4. 40 Days of Preparation Moses: Spent 40 days fasting on Mount Sinai before receiving the Ten Commandments (Exodus 34:28). Jesus: Fasted 40 days in the wilderness before beginning His ministry (Matthew 4:2). 5. Law & Teaching Moses: Gave the Law (Torah) to Israel, including the Ten Commandments. Jesus: Fulfilled and expanded the Law, teaching a deeper understanding (Matthew 5:17-48). 6. Performed Miracles Moses: Parted the Red Sea, brought water from a rock, and called down plagues on Egypt. Jesus: Walked on water, turned water into wine, healed the sick, and raised the dead. 7. Mediators of a Covenant Moses: Mediated the Old Covenant (Law of Moses). Jesus: Established the New Covenant (Grace and Salvation through His sacrifice). 8. Led People to Freedom Moses: Led Israel from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land. Jesus: Leads believers from the slavery of sin to eternal life. 9. Rejected by Their Own People Moses: The Israelites often doubted and rebelled against him. Jesus: Many Jews rejected Him as the Messiah. 10. Died for the Sake of Others Moses: Though he did not die to atone for sins, he suffered for Israel and was not allowed into the Promised Land. Jesus: Died on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity. These similarities highlight how Moses was a foreshadowing of Jesus, who came as the ultimate deliverer. Would you like a deeper explanation of any of these points?

actually, in Hebrew, the word “Shkheena”, which is akin to the Holy Spirit of the Christians, is gendered female. same with the “Ruah” - another word for Spirit. also female. it doesn’t mean that the entity behind the word is a female, just that the word is of a female gender - and we don’t have a mid-gender in Hebrew, so everything, animate as well as inanimate, must be either male or female, it’s a very gender-binary language :)

You guys got me asking chatgpt and well after asking where Paran is I also said but it's not mecca is it, This is the reply Why Paran is Not Mecca (Biblically and Historically) 1. Location in the Bible Paran is consistently mentioned in connection with places like Sinai, Seir (Edom), and Kadesh (southern Israel/Palestine), which are all within or near the Sinai Peninsula. The Israelites traveled through Paran after leaving Mount Sinai, which is nowhere near Mecca. 2. Geographical Context Paran is linked with the movement of the Israelites in the desert. Historically, it is understood to be located in northwestern Arabia or southern Jordan, far from Mecca. The Bible places Ishmael in Paran, but it does not indicate that he traveled as far south as Mecca. 3. No Biblical or Historical Evidence for Mecca Connection The Bible never mentions Mecca. Jewish and Christian traditions consistently place Paran in the Sinai region, not central Arabia. Ancient maps and biblical scholars identify Paran with an area closer to Edom (modern-day Jordan) and the Sinai, not Mecca. The Islamic Perspective Some Islamic scholars argue that Ishmael settled in Mecca and that Paran refers to that region. However, this view is based on later Islamic texts and not on the biblical or historical record. The connection between Ishmael, Paran, and Mecca is theological rather than geographical. Conclusion From a biblical and historical standpoint, Paran is a wilderness region near Sinai and southern Israel, not Mecca. The Islamic claim that Paran refers to Mecca comes from later Islamic traditions, not from the Bible itself.

Strong's Concordance: the name applied to the land settled by Tema, the son of Ishmael, "probably of foreign derivation" An Arabic word that means "barren dessert" and remains the name of a city north of Madinah. So Muhammad means praised one or whatever. Which I find hilarious. Its like calling yourself Chair or an object etc as that is also in the Bible. On another note. The torah and injeel can not be altered as in muslim terms allahs word can not be changed etc. The ones who have corrupted the bible etc are the muslims. As they pick and choose chapters and verses when it suits. The dawagandists pick on people who are not knowledgeable in the biblical texts. Textual variants etc in the bible and muslims over the past 5 years have changed their arguments. Like the quran is preserved(its not), scientific miracles(debunked- A, Dawah) etc etc. They keep changing the goal posts to prove that Islam is true. It became untrue when the perfect preservation argument fell apart. Now there is the 'Islamic Dilemma', 'What is the Injeel' and 'Now Muslims turn to the Bible for conformation of Muhammad'.

Same question to ChatGPT that is not pre-set up and directed produces the following response; The name Muhammad is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible. However, some Muslim scholars and apologists argue that certain biblical passages contain prophecies about Muhammad, while most Christian and Jewish scholars disagree with these interpretations. It then lists said passages with the muslim take on and Christian refutation. ChatGPT unfiltered answer seems sane and reasonable - for once!

By the way, if you look at the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled in the OT, youd realize that islam is false....for example. God came to Abraham when he was about to sacrifice his son and told him he'll send a lamb to be sacrificed instead. Moments later Moses finds a RAM in the bushes and kills it for Yahweh. NT comes and Jesus calls himself the Lamb of God and sacrifices himself for humanity on a cross, islam destroyed with that one prophecy...many more i can bring up for Jesus and him being Lord and also dying for his people, none for muhammed, stop the actual cap.

@@HobbsAnimates There are no prophecies of Jesus being Lord. You are speaking about what some authors wrote; not what is actually true. Please study the Bible. There are examples that prove they were inventing stories and that includes Jesus being divine in any way. Where is Jesus divine? In the only gospel that scholars don't consider historical or authentic but is an embellished Johannine literary product instead. Does Jesus speak the way he does in the Gospel of John in any other gospel? No. Six other sources fail to have Jesus saying what he does in John. What of the stories of Jesus saying not to cast the first stone, not found in earlier New Testament manuscripts; it's a fabrication. You are basing what you're saying on embellished, fabricated and inauthentic manuscripts. Not a single prophecy of Jesus says he was God or Lord. There is also not a single proof of Jesus dying for his people. The prophecies of Jesus were of him being a prophet and messiah. Also, please do not confuse the true prophecies of Jesus with the ones the authors tried to falsely write him into fulfilling found to be false. Of course, that is not something the authors had to do, trying to quell Jewish skepticism, since there were prophecies of him, but they did proving to us they were inventing stories and not reliable narrators. What of the famous mistakes Matthew made doing so? Having difficulties connecting to the Torah while a claim was made they were divinely inspired? None of the prophecies of Jesus prove Islam is false in anyway. You said for example. What is the example? What is the proof? Muhamad being a prophet doesn't disprove Jesus was a prophet.

The funny thing is that even if you accept that Mohammed was the prophet talked about by the gospel writers, you still have to content with almost 600 years of Christian tradition where nobody is waiting for a 'prophet like moses' or a 'comforter' to give them the final revelation. I'm beginning to think Muslims use the 'it's here in the Bible' argument because they only debate Christians from post-reformation denominations who hold to Sola Scriptura, instead of the Orthodox and Catholic Christians who place much more of an emphasize on holy Tradition.

The first "Christians" were Torah-practicing Jews who did have scripture with prophecies of two messiahs and a coming prophet (which is why they're still waiting after rejecting Muhammad). Using the Torah, believing in Jesus as a messiah and prophet (and not as God) was mainstream Christianity in the first 300 years after Jesus. After that, it lost its Jewish roots and deviated into a new religion of modern paganism. They were lost. Did they have information they needed to know that prophet was coming? Did they still use and follow the Torah or abandon it?
@jobtiesinga7807
@jobtiesinga7807 18 сағат бұрын
@nunya54 The first Christians were not 'Torah-practicing Jews' that somehow completely cut ties with Jewdaism in AD 300. Already in the council of Jerusalem of AD 48-50 it was decied that gentiles didn't have to adhere to most of the Mosaic law as it was clear to them that Jesus pointed to something greater than merely following rules: "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:20) And after this passage in Matthew, Jesus tells the people that many of the laws do not go far enough. The same is true for when people ask Jesus about the law of divorce: "They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.” “It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied." (Mark 10:4-5) and he proceeds to explain that divorce should never happen. From these passages in Matthew and Mark, it's clear that Jesus is pointing to something beyond the law and the council of Jerusalem merely takes that logic further. As for making Jesus God, I want to point to this passage where Jesus forgives sins: "Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”" (Matthew 9:2), which is something only Allah can do accourding to Ali 'Imran 3:135. I would advise reading these hadiths if you want to understand Prophet Mohammed: sunnah.com/bukhari:6982, sunnah.com/muslim:2922, sunnah.com/nasai:3378.

Not only does the "prophet like Moses" have to be an Israeli, he also has to be a prophet raised for Israel since God is giving this message to Israel and saying, "I will raise for you a prophet".
@nunya54
@nunya54 18 сағат бұрын
No, the prophet had to be from the brethren of the Jews. Deuteronomy 18:18 “I (God) will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee (Moses), and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.” Deuteronomy 34:10 Moses himself says: “And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses.” This awaited prophet, however, must be “like unto thee (Moses).” So he will come from outside of Israel. He is from the bretheren of the Jews. If this prophet can not be a Jew, then what is left? In this verse, God speaks to Moses about the Jews as a racial entity. The awaited prophet is claimed to not be “from the Jews” or “from among themselves” but rather “from among their (the Jew's) brethren.” Who are the brethren of the Jewish nation? The Jews are the sons Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham. Isaac's older brother was Ishmael, the father of the Arabs. The brethren of the Jewish nation is the nation of the Arabs. This statement is further reinforced by the following definition of “Brethren” in the Hebrew Dictionary of the Bible: “personification of a group of tribes who were regarded as near kinsmen of the Israelites.” We also have the Jews who traveled outside of their lush homeland to travel outside it for the land the book says this prophet would come from (Paran, near Teima/Teman). Deuteronomy 33:1 we have the chronological order of Moses, Jesus, Muhammad. Sinai being a reference to Moses, Sier being a reference to Jesus, Paran being a reference to the city of Makkah, the wilderness where Abraham's wife Hagar and Ishmael settled (Genesis 21:21). Mount Paran is the chain of mountains in the same region of the Sarawat Mountains where Muhammad received revelation. Jesus never travelled to Paran. Al the prophets of the Bible came from either Palestine or Babylon. He is the only one to fulfil this prophecy. Verse 33:2 mentions the fiery new law that shale issue forth from the right hand of this prophet from Paran which is a new law (the right hand also is very significant in Islam) and the mention of this new law means it cannot be the law of Moses as logically as it would not be "brought". No other prophet came with a replacement of the law of Moses. Jesus said he came to confirm and reinforce the law of Moses, not bring a new law. (Matthew 5:17-19) We also find in this prophecy Deuteronomy 33:2 that he would come with 10,000 saints. Moses had 70 (Exodus 24:1-9, Numbers 11:16-25), Jesus 11 close followers (excluding Judas) Matthew 10:1-5, Mark 3:14-19, etc. Only Muhammad fulfils this requirement. Habakkuk 3:3 God (his guidance) came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens and the earth was full of his praise. Paran is where Abraham's wife Hagar and his eldest son Ishmael, the father o the Arabs, settled (Genesis 21:21) in the Arabian desert. Mount Paran is the chain of mountains in the same region the Arabs call the Sarawat Mountains. The cave of Heera is located in the highest part of these mountains. The name Muhammad literally means praised one. According to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible, Teman is an Oasis just north of Madinah. That is where Muhammad and his followers migrated around 622 AD. Isaih's vision of two riders. One was a chariot of asses, which we know is Jesus (John 12:14) and the other is a prophet who would ride camels. Who is that? 21:13 says the burden of Arabia. Isaiah 21:14-15 talks about the inhabitants of the landof Tema who brought water to him that was thirsty. Tema according to John McKenzie's dictionary of the Bible is "a place name and tribal name of Arabia; a son of Ishmael....the name survives in Teima, an oasis of the part of the Arabian desert called the Nefud in North Central Arabia." It is the name of the ninth son of Ishmael, the father of the Arabs (Genesis 25:13-15). Strong's Concordance says this name was also applied to the land settled by Tema, the son of Ishmel and how this word is "probably of foreign derivation". In Arabic it means barren desert and it remains the name of a city in the Arabian peninsular north of Madinah. Isaiah 21:16-17 speaks about the children of Kedar (Genesis 25:13) one of Ishmael's sons and the name synonymous with all of Arabia in general (Ezekial 27:21 "Arabia and all the princes of Kedar. This is speaking about the Arabs of Makkah that were defeated by hte Muslims in the second year after the Muslims were forced to migrate to Madinah (the Hijra). This victory was a turning point in Islami history. They would go on after that to spread from Spain to China, fulfilling more prophecies including Daniel 2:44, Genesis 15:18-21 and others.

@nunya54 I'm sorry but to begin with, the people of Israel were not referred to as Jews before the division into northern and southern Israel. My point was that the prophet depicted was one to the house of Israel as your comment reflects in it's reference. According to the prophet of Islam, a prophet was sent to their own people ergo the prophet of Arabia was not to be the prophet of Israel.

Moses was the leader of a nation, like Muhammad. Not Jesus. They were both followed by their people. Not Jesus. They were husbands and fathers, not Jesus. They both had normal births and normal deaths. Not Jesus. Christians say Jesus was crucified and he was born to a virgin. Deuteronomy 34:10 Moses himself says: “And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses.” This awaited prophet, however, must be “like unto thee (Moses).” So he will come from outside of Israel which is exactly what the Jews who knew this, the Tribe of Levi in particular, went outside Jerusalem to look for. Why do you think they ended up in the place Muhammad later migrated to knowing before he even did where he'd be? The brethren of the Jews are the Arabs. The awaited prophet is claimed to not be “from the Jews” or “from among themselves” but rather “from among their (the Jew's) brethren.” The Jews are the sons Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham. Isaac's older brother was Ishmael, the father of the Arabs. The Hebrew Dictionary of the Bible says for brethren: “personification of a group of tribes who were regarded as near kinsmen of the Israelites.” There's actually too much that fits Muhammad to ignore and the fact that if someone says he's not in the Bible, how it seems very-short sighted the writers didn't know about him coming since they claimed divine inspiration yet had prophecies that were much less than Muhammad coming with a religion of billions convincing more people to believe in Jesus than Jesus did himself.
