Dry and CRUNCHY are NOT the sounds you should hear!!!!!!It means that the skin is still to dry yet for a comfortable shed. U will always hear a bit of that but if the shed is not quite ready to release easily then what your doing in fact is peeling the skin off leaving ur Tegua in painful discomfort. Imagine.....getting a sunburn and your skin peeling off but they try to yank and pull on the skin that is not yet ready to peel. That's how ur Tegue will feel.If they try to protect themselves from that pain and strike at ur hand it's ALWAYS the pet that gets the raw end of the situation by getting a beating or screamed at or given the name of vicious or mean or put away and left away and forgotten about.His care and health will go down because he has been labeled as cause for fear.When all he was trying to do was stop that pain You may even give him away or put him down!!!!!!. So remember. Sunburn###!!Why not try another way??Let him/her soak for about 10-15 mins.in the tub of tepid (warm,NOT hot or cold)water and then gently pat his/her skin, not dry just pat the skin off. Have a few of their favorites snack item's mabey some strawberries or even a bunch of meal worms if they won't settle or a nice rub for a minute or two.Works like a charm!!!🦎🦎🦎😄🇨🇦🌹You'll hear some crunching or popping sounds but it won't hurt like it may have before,it will only be removing LOOSE OR LIFTING dry shed.It won't be lifting his new and tender skin. That will be right as rain the next day. And ur Tegua will love you to pieces for all your kindness.He may do what my boy used too. AIM carefully and plant a big slurby kiss some place on my face, cause now he knows he has the bestest (😅) Mama in the whole wide world. 🇨🇦😇😇🦎🦎(hopefully he won't end up giving you that big slurby kiss in the eye ball!!!😮Yucky!!!!! 😅Nothing like your Tegues slurby but well intended kisses to the eye ball !!!!!! Eeekkkk !!!!!Oh well....He was well worth it🦎🦎🇨🇦😇😇😄😄😄🌹🌹🌹

皮が安全に剥がれるタイミングというものがあります。この日が来るまで何日も待ちます。実はこの動画もいっきにやっているように見えて、安全に剥がれる部位を確認して何日かに分けて剥がしています。フトアゴヒゲトカゲの皮膚は柔らかくよく伸びるのでそのように見えてしまうのですかね…
