Make sure to run a 6 inch dredge after you are done stripping and running the pay on top of the bedrock. The dozer can only dig so far and not into cracks. Using a smaller dredge after a heavy equipment operation can pay big if the ground is productive. your welcome. Very nice gold and I subscribed.

Awesome set up and video!! The stuff of dreams... That's a whole lot of very expensive equipment and despite the huge amount of gold recovered, I have to wonder if it's paying for itself? I must admit that I've never seen so much gold in any sluce before. I do hope that your site is giving everything and more for your hard work. GL & GH :D

@YankeeGoldProspect Amen to that! I swear the producers of that show are the same ones who produce Housewives of Atlanta and Jersey Shore. An entire hour of everything BUT gold mining. Which just goes to show how clueless and out of touch Hollywood producers are. This video, on the other hand, is what that show should be about. Great video from beginning to end of a successful gold mining operation.

Apparently you are still all interested! Well then, this is an old video from our last season and have an even better result coming this winter. We just closed camp, have some paper work to catch up on, then it's video time. No major production like you can see on History Channel or Discovery Channel, but it's raw and it's real.
@LODoftheLAKE12 жыл бұрын
In the videos now, yes. It was barged or flown in. (by my own company) but as of June 01 2012, we located with drive in access , 40 minutes from Dawson City. Way cheaper to operate, and to have a break!

@ncognit02 Right on. I told my friends on Facebook before the show started this year, what was going to happen. From the Claim jumper Fred & the new claim. Starting all over again. Equipment breaking down & not finding good gold till near the end of the season. How they would show other mining operations other than Hoffman's because they want to make the show like the deadliest catch. As if it is a competition to see who will find the most gold. That is why they don't use real miners.

@zep4141 just remember if can't be grown, it's gotta be mined. Look at the ingredients on ur shaving cream or lip chap, and any other product for that manner. Then go pat a miner on the back and say thanks. In your spare time find a farmer and do the same thing.

Dulac is a real gold miner, not a glamour miner like Todd Hoffman. Now even though Dulac was probably handed everything by his parents, he's a real miner. It gets old watching the glamour boys (Hoffmans) on Discovery because for some reason Todd could shit out 500 thousand whenever he needed it. Discovery paying him to keep the show rolling? Yep.

I would just get a large bucket with ice and shot your gold. then put in pyrex beaker. Leach for an hour or 2 with 20-25% hydrochloric acid. 50celcius. rinse out beaker and gold. Then add nitric acid 50% strength heat to 50celcius an hour or two. Pour off the nitric, wash gold. The white powder is silver chloride. save that. Then use 100ml hydrochloric acid 32% 25ml nitric acid 70% to every oz of remaining gold shot, heat 50celcius until dissolved. cool, dilute 10%, filter silver chloride crystals off. Add an icecube and leave to see if anymore silver crystals precipitate if they do add more water. if not after you filter add SMB slowly, filter brown mud, reduce to get gold bar 99.5%+ pure. can make it 99.95% 2nd pass save the solution and drop platinum/palladium using ammonium chloride/zinc/DMG etc If chems are a problem due to remoteness theres other ways, i think ppl wait till winter and do this when its all iced over outside n bored

you wouldnt incur any loss, recovery is quantitive

I saw this video clip because I got truly concerned about the economy and had no idea what direction to go. Moolah does not necessarily mean anything these days. Thus I thought I would conduct some analysis and stumbled on Goldiverse. I\'m so fortunate, I have the ability to switch my personal savings from cash to many different currencies, to any precious metal any time I like. The governing administration can go and take a jump for all I care. Just Bing and google it Goldiverse.

Gold would have been used to make components for the computer you used to make your comment. We can't live as we do without mining. Small mines like this do no harm to the environment. Every time a river floods 100s and 1000s of tons of soil and gravel get relocated. Even large mines only do minor damage, as the Earth reclaims it over time. So you can't have your cake and eat it too.

@zep4141 What about the land that was tore up to build your house? Or the land that was tore up to cut down the timber to build your house? Or the land that was tore up to mine the ore for the materials to make your car or your childs bike? I'm not just talking to zep4141, but to everyone who thinks like that. Naive hypocrisy.
