No Need to Get Bogged Down in Detail

Great channel. Are you typically straight to pen or do you do much penciling?

Straight pen in all these KZbin videos. Except of course for a few videos on pencil drawing. Freehand ink was the skill I wanted to develop. 😀

Thanks for the video. I sympathize with trying to draw cold. I draw out in my shop - it's slump block and gets cold as the outdoor temp in winter and even hotter in the summer. In the winter I have a heater at my feet, another larger heater for the room and I draw in thick openfinger gloves. I have to use a lot of ice water and fans in the summer. It was 107F outside and 109F in my drawing corner yesterday. Either extreme makes it hard to concentrate and the cold makes it physically challenging.

I find the older I get, the more I seem to feel the cold. But really, Sydney has a pretty good all round temperature. But I probably still prefer the summer extremes of mid 40s than the colder days. (Except for the bush fire risk).
