Her voice was like that because Dorinda had nodules and had throat surgery at the time "Jesus Has A Lot to give. Her voice fully recovered after this.

I'm mad they put this version on the album with the condition of Dorinda's voice. You can tell that her voice is not well and I'm sure this didn't help. Karen sounds so cute.
