I would love to see a Sardines version of this. Only one hider and everyone else looks for them, when a seeker finds the hider, they must hide with them. You do this until the last seeker finds the stack. This will lead to 7 Marios in one spot. Could be a good time.

That’d be interesting because in that version, the incentives for seekers would be completely flipped from the “normal” game - rather than trying to work together to prevent the remaining hiders from achieving a high score, they’d want to keep the other seekers in the dark as to their discoveries, so that if they do find the hider(s), the others won’t immediately be able to join and start racking up time (I’m assuming that time hiding is still this game’s score). That might disincentivize talking about the game as you’re playing, because you’d never have any reason to let *anyone* know what you’re up to, but on the other hand, the end result of that might be a two hour stream where a bunch of people play SMO while talking about literally anything else, which would probably be incredible.

@@Pablo360able You could play it with the gamemode as it already is - just say that the person with the seeker role is the hider and vice versa, and the winner is the person with the lowest amount of time spent 'hiding' (seeking). When you find the hider, you just run into them to respawn as a hider. Though that could lead to an exploit where some people just watch the Odyssey (or wherever it is you respawn) and, when someone respawns, follow them back to the hiding spot. =S

@@minicraftersunitehello3522 A simpler solution might just be a slight tweak to the code so that touching someone marked as 'seeker' would just change you to a seeker without killing you. Prevents the spawn-camping problem while also allowing the Marios to crowd the same hiding spot like sardines.

To be honest editing 8 perspectives isn't too hard, it just takes a very long time, especially if the streams are like 4 hours long. You just stack the footage on top of one another using separate tracks, then you can sync them up using the audio waveforms and just make a supercut version. Then it's just a matter of deleting parts of the other pieces of footage to show one perspective at a time. Idk why I explained this lmfao, I guess enjoy my rambling lol.

Yeh, each video has it's own way of editing and when there's so much time each round, there's always a lot that gets cut each video, so different video can have completely different parts

I just started binge watching these videos but was on the fence about buying the game. If you got back to a lower amount of players, you should try a more strategic hint system: after 6 minutes or whenever you do it, ask not just "top/bottom" but any "yes/no" question and everyone has to answer truthfully. As specific or as broad as you want but if it's ambiguous (like top/bottom but you're in the middle), hiders may choose any answer. They can also change position, obviously, which helps staying hidden even if you had to answer multiple very specific questions.
