As I listen to this I remember back to when I was a young child and began my relationship with the Lord. Thru my teenage years I never fit in because of my relationship. I was set apart. My young years in my mid 20s as my husband walked out on me as I was 8 mos pregnant with our 2nd son. The Holy Spirit ever present as I cried out for understanding. My love and faith only grew stronger. As my 2nd husband carried on as textbook narcissist do, complete confusion for 26 years yet the Holy Spirit never left, I only grew stronger. I'm 60 and alone now but am surrounded by my 4 sons that want me close to them. I will forever stand in Christ alone. He is the love of my youth and will forever be. "No one ever cared for me like Jesus"

This song... heard it for the first time Sunday May 1st. We're in the midst of a struggle that our son is dealing with... there were several other "Stressers" going on Sunday morning as I prepared to bring the message that morning. When I heard that line, "Let my children tell their children, let this be their memory..." it just grabbed every part of me. And I could see a hopeful day in a distant future when my son would tell his son about his dad and how he loved and trusted Jesus above all and how his dad pointed him to Jesus in the midst of a tough time.

I dont think anyone can really know what or who Jesus or God really is, no one, no one can pinpoint the truth. God and life is a mystery I do know however; that in mystery there is some sort of truth, that God is somehow real, I can feel this song. It's amazing the emotion this conveys.
