Lol I worked in the middle school system, in the gym.....a.k.a prison yard!!!!!! It was an amazing experience! Drama everyday! 60 in a class......it was like herding cats.....but we ran a tight ship and shut it down fast when the evil reared it's ugly middle school hormones!!!!!!! I used my whistle a lot!

I've worked at a school district for going on 19 years. My 2nd year in the district, I worked in a middle school as campus security. Middle school kids are a nightmare. They're not little kids and they're not teenagers. There is a lot of drama and they tend to scream at a high decibel level for no reason. One year was enough so then I went to work another 16 year's as campus security in various high schools. There was some good and some bad. In my 18th year, I went back to a middle school for one year as campus security. By that time, they were letting kids get away with a lot. When you're pulling a disruptive 8th grader out of class and they tell you to go F- yourself(and they don't get in trouble), I knew then it was time for career change. When I saw kids every day, I wanted to punch them in the face. So to save my sanity amd stay out of jail, I entered a different job and now I'm in my 19th year and working in a high school orchestra and I love it. Anyone who teaches and/or works in a middle school, are saints.

By today’s middle school kid standards- theatre group To anyone born before 1995- just like everyone else. There was a time when everyone was taught to dance in school, they were also taught shop both wood and metal girls were taught home basics and they even went so far as to teach actual hands on gun safety and you shot archery in PE.

My 8th grade class ruined the schools future class trips to Washington DC for eternity...that was in 1983, and to this day; no class from that school has ever gone back. The back story, or at least part of it...Our hotel was L-shaped & the girls decided to do a strip show for the guys who were on the other wing facing them...and the staff thought their plan was bullet-proof prior to the bus leaving the school. We also got kicked out of the hotel swimming pool, but to this day I never found out why that happened. We were a Catholic school btw...so we had that goin' for us also.

Dude, religious schools are the craziest. I went to an Islamic school, and we were PSYCHOTIC. Like, our school got banned from all the 7-11s in the city, anyone who walks in with our school's uniform will be automatically kicked out. We're also banned from 2 ski resorts and from entering a mall, a vacation town, and every pool in the city. They love and appreciate us very much.

It was a tragedy and we all stood in solidarity with the USA, but we weren't personally affected and the hatred for Muslims were only really prevalent in the big cities, for a year or two. Also, the banning from the vacation town and the pools were in the 1990s. So before 9/11. We got banned from those places cuz we were crazyy students, not cuz we're Muslim.
