When you bend your knee you open the skin up. the skin thats normally overlapping gets folded out and the particles underneath the folded skin that normally would go into the air get released in an instant, creating a stronger smell! :D Sorry if my english is bad but yeh its just bc of the stretched skin :DDD

I think it’s because those joints (knees and elbows) have thicker skin, so they’re more skinny? And most people don’t properly exfoliate them either, so they can produce more build up than other areas of the body, giving them that smell
