I'm amazed at an estate sale you are the only one there!? It didn't look like it was handled by an estate company so maybe that's it it was private. estate sales that we go to where I am, there's 50 people waiting and more coming in and we're cheek to jowel trying to find good deals. That Remington was an outstanding find.

I went to a sale yesterday and bought the prettiest oil painting of an Autumn barn scene. $2 bucks. Looked it up and it last sold for $1800!! It's so pretty though, I'm going to stare at it awhile then list it Lol

Its rare that those sony TCM-200DV cassette recorders actually work. There are 120 current on ebay listed for parts and only 21 working. I took a chance and spent $10 on one (ended up being a dud) and I'll be lucky to get $15

The price at a yard sale/ estate sale is whatever the owner agrees to. People get upset about this kind of thing and I dont get it; even if I knew the statues value I'd have wanted it for $5, that's how this hustle works and theres no shame in it

If you’re already willing to let that statue sit for a while, list it high and have best offer on. Just my opinion though 🤷‍♂️

The chain harness on the statue would be a red flag to me I think.. don't see how a quality reproduction would have used that. It's possible the thin piece of metal broke off and someone replaced it? Hard to see the statue in the video to see the details, but the color also seems off. Remington has been reproduced a lot.. some better than others. Interested to hear what else you find out.

Hey Picker, Question does the statue have any foundry marks? It should be marked with the foundry that did it. Also the chain is another concern 🤔 I’m not being one of those people that try and knock everyone’s finds but I know you do eBay and you know how they can be and another thing is a buyer thinking it’s not real and coming back at you with allegations even sometimes when it’s real. I’m just saying do your research to backup the claim of it being authentic 😉
