I love the show, but had to give this video a thumbs down for the title being click bait, there was no blooper, you could have just given it a regular title, people would have viewed anyway for the love of the show.

couldn't agree more ... i think maybe the fact that EM wasn't the 'decent lady' the traditionalist mostly religious public thought of her (being in an extra marital relationship with another man whilst still being married) is the "blooper" this channel's poster believes ... yet again, as you just said it too, i'd have watched it with almost any other title anyways ...

Back in that time, the episode dealing with race and bigotry wasn't offensive to most blacks, because it was making a valuable point, and it wasn't making fun of or belittling us as black people, it was making fun of racist bigots and white supremacist. Back in the day, Bewitched was indeed a great show with a great cast of people! 👏🏾👍🏾💕

I have to object to describing the Christmas episode as racist. It was intended and understood by all as a slap at bigots. It was clearly intended to say everyone is equal which at the time was a controversial opinion. If we progress and move ahead we still have to recognize where we started.

Pain killers, sleeping pills, and muscle relaxants in the 1960s were Morphine, Methadone, Seconal, Pentobarbital, and Soma for a muscle relaxant. This was long before Oxycodone and Hydrocodone, Ambien, and Diazepam. Some are worse than others but still addictive. Surgery of the spine had not progressed as far as 2024. People still must endure pain without relief.

I was 8 when it 1st came out. The only charactor I did't like was Sargent felt he was wrong for the role. I big issue with the series was when there was a problem and there were many you heard someone say I need a drrink. Like taking a drink was the solution or thatz what you did every time you hade a problem. I do have a drink once an a while or I am being social. Its just I wonder how many people though this is what you do and it led to needing a drink because you couldn't play gold do to rain.

Give us all a BREAK. The ANTI-racist episode was well before its time and well before anyone could understand it adequately. The Democratic party's hatred of black people was more than demonstrated through its creation of the terrorist group "the KKK" and Jim Crowe laws. The fact that Bewitched along with All in the Family went amazingly far to ridicule people who held onto beliefs that being "black" also meant being "bad/evil/stupid/etc,etc,etc" has always been completely absurd. Reducing criticism of Bewitched to having a "black face" episode is disgusting. The point of "black face" was to ridicule" black people through mockery. The portrayal of white people appearing to be black to a racist man in order to show him the error of his thinking and beliefs is the EXACT OPPOSITE of "black face." The makeup jobs themselves were not even close to being a mockery -- they were artful attempts to simulate even if they weren't as effective as RDjr's "Tropic Thunder" movie... a role, which I will add, was actually loved and appreciated by many black viewers. An "impersonation" or "impression" is not "black face." We need a grip on reality which is not reflected through woke BS views on everything.

@erroneus00
@erroneus00 2 ай бұрын
@@willicat44 Give the world a break! Assuming you're not being sarcastic, the "both parties switches sides" is the most insane claim in politics ever created. It was always the Republican party setting the new standards for equal rights in this country. No one really knows why JFK was assassinated but there are tons of theories. One involved LBJ (the "I'm going to have those N's voting Democrat for the next 200 years!" guy?) and the Democratic party's push to destroy the black family through welfare policy and other measures. The Democratic party STILL hates black people as evidenced by the constant claims of victimhood and systemic racism. It's pretty disgusting. You can't expect a people to do well as long as they are required to believe they are unable to do things for themselves. Black people who know better and speak out about it are always attacked by the Democratic party. None of this is an accident.

This is a bit tedious to watch...I think I'll dump it. One mistake that the guy makes at the opening is when he says "from the first twitch of her nose"...small point but Samantha NEVER "twitched" her nose: it wasn't her nose that was moving. Samantha was twitching her mouth and mostly her upper lip; her nose was not even part of the equation!!!
