A psychopath is more evil than psychotic. A psychotic person is detached from reality. While a psychopath is perfectly in reality but don't give a shit about anyone. Now you can be both psychotic and psychopathic but they are not the same. When you are psychotic you have delusion's and hulusination's. But you can just have one of these symptom's and be psychotic. Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder that causes delusion's and hulusination's. These symptom's can be separate and the person have schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is Greek for split mind but is referring to split from reality not personality. Please research what psychotic mean's before talking about it.

The majority of people haven't studied the specifics between mental disorder classifications. If you have someone in your life facing any of these disorders, I'm sorry and mean no offense. I related that same way with Magnus Bane! A lot of his quotes really spoke to me during one of the hardest periods in my life. And while I tried to be strong like him, I really relied on his strength and other qualities he had. I didn't have anyone I could've talked to and gotten unbiased advice from, but I imagined that Magnus wouldn't care what I believed and that he would love me the way I was. I confided in him even though he wasn't real. That he wasn't real was actually essential to me at that time, because I knew someone who isn't real can't let you down.

It would actually be really cool to see them get that 6th season and through that 6th season they establish how dick Grayson met Damian Wayne, and through that same arc it makes cyborg wanna join the justice league with batman, and since Robin doesn't wanna leave cyborg, goes with him and let's Damian Don the Robin mantle. Dick Grayson creates a new persona for himself in nightwing and raven, starfire, and beast boy become the founding members of the new titans, with the "teen titans" (Damian wayne, starfire, and beast boy) ending up being a sort of b team of the justice league, with the actual "titans" (nightwing, raven and bumblebee) being a team of their own. Of course, the unifying force between the justice league and the titans, in this case, would be cyborg. Just wanna see something like that

something else I think is an important aspect of her character is her perceived lack of agency. Her entire life she thought her fate was preordained. that no matter what she did or what she chose, she'd be the key to Trigon's conquest of the mortal realm. it's not until season 4 where she realized that she _does_ have a choice, that she _does_ has an option. and takes it.

I've always resonated with this character. I have Asperger's and didn't know till I was 22. I'm 24. Raven does deal with bottled emotions, but it's because if she experiences a strong emotion it could open a portal for her father. Experiencing her human side is a key to destroying everything she cares about. She has always said her birth was nothing to celebrate because it's brought her nothing but pain. Like her being born was a mistake, she's afraid she'll become her father, that her nature and his and in her life is inevitable. And with my complex for saving people that have gone through similar trauma, I've always had a deep attachment towards her, since I was 7 years old. My mother is dead from heroin. I'm not sad about it. She was incredibly abusive both physically and mentally. My father is also abusive, man's a drunk and a sociopath. I didn't have a happy childhood persay. I've always been afraid of becoming my mother and all the way up until I had clarity in my condition I felt I was born wrong. Because my father and mother punished every mistake and not once cared to help my mental health or find out what it was, and when they did it was to see if they could pull income from it. I've always had a deep depression and all I've ever felt was rage. I felt like one small slip up could destroy any stability I had. So I bottled up. And as a man with Asperger's, my IQ is stereotypically high, so I also resorted to logic. And now as an Autistic man I just want someone to treat me like a person and not some kind of mentally incapacitated have-not. I've disowned my father after he expressed his disgust with me not being straight or Christian. So I guess you could say both my parents make up what you could think of my Trigon. One used me and the other doesn't like anything about me. It's hard to relate to people who didn't live a lifetime of beatings, stress, starvation, and constant ridicule from the only people you could trust in your life, and on top of that people who aren't autistic. And like Raven all I've wanted was some small sliver of understanding.

I just tought over what you said about Raven way of dealing with personal issues was a generator of Stress, what if the fate she was deal with and the whole Trigon Fiasco is the representation of that Stress train finally goin out of rail and smashing the hell out of things. @Nux Taku the analysis of Raven and the emotions you poured into making this video struck a chord with me. The witty asshole sarcasm, zingers, and receding into intellect to control emotions is something I also do however when doing so I do state when something displeases me or stresses me out and make sure it is known to those involved or near me verbally but in a calm manner. I just became homeless because of circumstances beyond my control and I was so upset and so angry that I texted my brother/best friend and was UNABLE TO SAY SWEAR WORDS. I told my brother that the person who kicked us out was a lot of horrible things I cant recall of the top of my head however not a single cuss word was used. However after that I put my focus both logically and emotionally into efforts in finding a new place to live, which is still a work in progress. Being stuck in a cheap motel priced at $400 to let me stay til the end of the month until I can find my own place with little food to get me by is not a situation I want to be in but I have to face the facts that this is reality, my feelings towards this situation are full of fear and doubt but there is hope in this like there is fear and doubt. Raven said in "Fear Itself" that she was afraid. But she followed up with "But I'm not afraid enough to not fight back!" Just like Raven, I can't let myself sink into despair over this and I have to accept my situation for as it is and do what I can to fight back and fix my situation and find a new safe place to live.

I had a workplace sociopath bully in the last kitchen I worked in, and I was "receding into intellect" in order to try and forget about him. I wouldn't admit to myself I was afraid of him even though he made me scared enough to quit my job on the spot, and its been a month since then. The job was awful, and not just because of said bully, and I ended up finding a job at a Michelin star restaurant (I'll probably start in 3 weeks) so losing the job actually gave me the best opportunity I've ever had in my life. But I found it very difficult to let go of the fear, I was afraid of this bully randomly finding me on the street or something so he could harass or hurt me. I just want that fear to go away forever, and I really think this lecture is a guideline for doing that. I really love these deep topics about anime and other media, I don't think any other youtuber is even close to your level in terms of enlightening analysis, and how we can apply the lessons learned from anime into our own lives. I also like how I can tell that you've actually been through a lot of the mental battles that I've fought, and you've made me feel like I'm not alone. I like you Nux, you're a good guy.

You brought up a known psychological concept: "there's good and bad in us, but if you invite your bad guys to play, then you can work with them in a disciplined manner, and then you're integrating and using all of your assets". Denial of personal issues/flaws/emotions leads to fragmentation leads to unrest. The opposite leads to peace and confidence.

Wow. Ive been waiting for someone to truly favor knowledge over emotion for quite some time. Im not tryin to flex either, but i completely understand u and the way u relate to raven, because i also receed to intellect. Kimda weird to say, but my mom walked out on me. I was a kid at the time, so i think i was sad. But after a while, i learned i shouldnt care, if i expect the worst of all situations, i will always be prepared for what happens. I loved learning about you =O sorry; that might sound weird, but through all your analysis videos and meme filled videos, I feel like we get to see sides/personas of you, but not the real you. It's in videos like this one where you stop doing a voice that I feel like you're really opening up to us, and I always really appreciate those moments =) it feels like you trust us, at least a little more. And I know this is the internet, and it can be dangerous to be super honest on the internet, and I'm not going to ask you to do any kind of physical reveal because that's seriously no one's call but your own. I don't constantly watch your videos but the few that I have it's always been sarcastic and funny and it was refreshing to see someone just have a chill vibe. However, during this video I could tell from the start how serious you were and how much the character of Raven means to you. When you mentioned how some people use sarcasm to cope/ hide how they truly feel that hit me hard because I do the same thing. It might have felt like you were talking about yourself yet: I felt quite personally attacked. I buried my emotions quite deep, and due to that: I suffered so much more than if I originally dealt with them. Like you said: it's a steep hole that we build to intellectually repress emotional baggage, but it only gets steeper the longer you repress them. I've been in therapy for about 5 years, and I've only recently been able to start handling my issues. Thank you, Lord Nuxanor, for being vulnerable for all of us, because we all need to be vulnerable of we're to deal with our emotions.
