OUCH! Masterful job with such beautiful, when blooming, plants. Have had my share of roses and your taking the time to trim them way back and pull the grass growing under them is great attention to detail. One thing that you consider is taking and turning up the soil, if possible by the roses and perhaps putting down some mulch. Everyone has a different way they like their yards to look so it might not be what this client wants and it is just a thought.

I really like the fact that you do these kind of jobs too. A lot of the other youtube free make-over video makers now seem to think that the bigger the garden, the higher the grass/trees/bushes and/or the more trash they clear the better. To me this often feels it's more about getting as many likes and subscribers and not so much about the people they're helping. They sometimes spend hours finding a property. I bet they just drive past houses like this one because it's not 'spectacular' enough. I think there are also a lot of people who need help with jobs like this so they can once again enjoy the beauty of their garden. Hope we'll get to see this garden again once the flowers come back.

At about 14:45 garden gate is blowing unrestrained in the wind, putting a lot of strain on the hinges and screws. Needs some form of "stop" to prevent that excess strain -- but that is basically something for the owner to do or arrange.

All those roses needed that kind of cut back. You could tell by the size of some of the trunks and branches that they had some age on them. A little rose food, and some mulch and they are good to grow. I agree with others who say please film those roses again when they have recovered and are blooming again. What is that big blooming plant in the other corner near the white gardenia? Great job. You are a good man. The world needs more like you.
