Stop buying cameras when you don’t need them 😂
@Vincentecreativeservices Жыл бұрын
It's not weird that the camera registers the lens at f1.8 because the lens IS at f1.8, It also simultaneously has a t1.9 rating. T stop is an f stop minus the impedance of the materials in the lens.
@REMY.C. Жыл бұрын
Even if they are on the expensive side compared to the same quality "cine" lenses, the autofocus is a plus and the modularity is promising. Of course it will depend on the upcoming accessories. Hope they'll make them in other mounts like Fuji.

Nice! Only thing I wish I had was the distance markers on the lens, for a FF, would I need to attach a ring to it ?

Yeh missing any form of markers. They should have called them a hybrid cine lens, would have been a better name
@russellcameronthomas2116 Жыл бұрын
Samyang now offers an attachment to the front (the first) that provides calibrated/marked manual focus with stops at min and max. It's disappointing that Chris didn't include this in his video.

I have seen that there is a manual focus adapter going to be released for these. That would solve your aperture issue as the back ring could be used for aperture and the adapter ring for focus. It also has a 95mm outside diameter to work with matte boxes
@urfriendalquan Жыл бұрын
With the recent focus breathing update on the FX3/FX30, does that focus breathing issue still happen?
@armanspecial5664 Жыл бұрын
Sir, I would like to do it in FX3, it will be good for wedding cinematography, focus does not do hunting.

For PPA membership and their camera equipment coverage. It only cover with proof of "force of entry". So, basically, only cover at home or work premises (no coverage for mysterious disappearance". I recommend buy a separate policy with "Scheduled Camera Equipment Coverage" with whatever the amount of your camera + equipment you want.

How would these perform as photography lenses? In terms of size they seem ideal given the T1.9 (f1.8) aperture.

Dope review as always, I want to buy these lenses but I just wanted to find out, would I be able to use them with my 77mm black pro mist filter and VND that’s also 77mm. I tried checking on online but there is no definitive answer. Would I need to get a step up ring? Please advice what would be the best solution for this?Thanks in advance.

Why would these lenses be better than using Sony regular lenses. Wouldn't the autofocus on the Sony lenses be better? Is the biggest reason to simply use a "T" for aperture instead an an "F"? THX
@johnlocke3481 Жыл бұрын
A "cine" lens with heavy focus breathing seems like a huge misstep. As far I I understand it, focus breathing is the bane of cinema lenses.
