Damn BFD would play Nas over 2 Pac? That’s crazy, but I can see why, Nas is one of the best lyrics that has ever been in the Rap game without a doubt. I personally would have to go with the “home team” Good interview And good podcast

That's exactly what it means....it's ain't just the homIEs from around the way that are starting to sound more like brothas...it's the world.. hip-hop is the #1 influence to all of the youth all over the world in 2024.. When we were growing up in the 90s...it wasn't like that tho... hence the Capone E.. and Lil Rob's...and all of that. So yea back then where was a clear difference...but 2024.. .has everyone from Cali to Florida...and every state in between talking with that flava.. right..so anyone with the slightest inkling of common sense would see the increase in the collaquilaisms...and how the youth express themselves currently is dictated firstly through hip-hop culture.... then secondly where you're born and raised and geographically... that's why these foos KNOW they are straight up lying to the world... but most importantly to THEMSELVES With their logic... MEET ME OUTSIDE girl....from florida...don't talk like that cuz of rap music. She talk like that cuz she's tryna bite Nortenos. And Jack Harlow too... that Whiteboy don't pop it how he do cuz he grew up loving hip-hop...and found an identity through it. Nooooope. Clearly he was listening to the same 20 norteno rappers who have a slightly impactful semblance of a fan base across the nation.. growing up... .he just don't wanna admit it in his interviews. You know what kinda PHUCCS me up as a southerner listening to this pod is that for the most part these dudes aren't too far off with most of their opinions.. and conduct themselves fairly well. Clearly....but then it comes to this topic and it just deducts all of the respect and admiration I had gained for them... by actually being that ignorantly arrogant to sit there with a serious face and tell each other and us listening... That the Poppin south siders who rap ARE COPYING THEM. when more than likely they have never even listened to a norteno rapper in their life. And if they had its because one of the small handful or several to a dozen..that have somehow managed to Garner a fanbase beyond the exact place they are from . Cuz here's the big secret none of these NORTHENERS know... NO ONE LISTENS TO NORTENO RAP.. except NORTHENERS. This ain't opinion this is factual....there hasn't been A SUCCESSFUL LATINO RAPPER FROM NORTHERN CALIFORNIA that crossed all races and cultures...EVER. y'all are a small pocket and make up a very small percentage of rap artist.. and rap fans. And that's cuz the music y'all make is made by y'all for y'all. PERIOD. Maybe in the last 4 decades hip-hop has been in the forefront of pop culture...one or two Latino artist from up north crossed some lines... But it's cuz they either moved to Texas and ppl thought that's where they were from. Or because NO ONE KNEW THEY WERE FROM NORTHERN CALIFORNIA..IM WILLING TO debate this topic any day with any Northern podcaster or northern rapper... ANY DAY. I want someone to prove me wrong

Its crazy y'all break down the logic to how NORTHENERS ended up rapping how they did way back in the day...cus of the heavy influence from the blacks you all had in the streets and the pen right... but now we FF to 2024... where all races from all states are poppin it like the brothas due to hip-hop being the most influential culture amongst the youth ALL OVER THE WORLD... Yall acknowledged that...yet yall still got the audacity to somehow after that still make false claims about south siders copying ONLY YALL. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ ...it's ain't just the homIEs from around the way that are starting to sound more like brothas...it's the world.. hip-hop is the #1 influence to all of the youth all over the world in 2024.. Go listen again. They weren't saying southerners were copying them in regards to music but the style period. BFD said Northerners got fades (hair cuts) southerners never did, now they do. The style of rap Southerners use emulates the style of Northerners. A few southern rappers said they listen to Northerners music. If you were to look at the analytics of most Northern rappers L.A. is always top 5 city's that stream Northerners music. Ask any popping Northern artist.

@@NoPaperWorkPodcast imma be honest for someone who spends time at only one isolated place when you come down here.. that sounds like ALOTTA SPECULATION ... from whatever city your family is in . And rap videos. Not to mention A SUPERRRR REACH. I grew up in the inland Empire ALL OF MY LIFE...44 YEARS. So if I told you I grew up around a gang of homIEs who had fades instead of going pelon.. would you believe me? Cuz it's the truth.. how bout if I told some of the first homIEs I met when I was growing up had rat tails in high school... would you believe me? Did any of them talk like BROTHAS no... Not at all. But this is 1993-1997....my point being it seems like all you all are doing is making sweeping generalizations based on stereotypes from media and played out trends from the 90s... 30 years ago. ID SAY THAT'S INCREDIBLY IGNORANT OF YALL to say that because homIEs yall happen to see more homIEs with fades now ... That we did it because of y'all. It SOUNDS CRAZY. me personally have never met not just one homIE who's said they were influenced from a norteno rapper.. I'VE NEVER MET A --- PERSON.. who's said that either. Imagine if we were to reduce all of Northern California to the way Antioch does something...and then made a sweeping generalization about EVERY CITY up north.. based on how Antioch does things. Wouldn't you all call that an ignorant of us to say?... Especially when it's just merely an isolated observation we see based on one city we had family in.. or something we saw in rap videos. I thought y'all thing was about priding yourselves on being more educated and smarter than us. But all of what you just said.. in the comments and on the video....no disrespect but it sounds incredibly IGNORANT. And like you are choosing to use dated stereotypes to make these crazy claims.. that to all of us down here just looks like STRAIGHT HATE. Cuz we know it's such a ridiculous claim to make. It's either that or you all are tryna counter a dated stereotype based on what some other southerners say , that y'all swagger Jack the Brothers. So this is how you guys chose to respond to that. Either way both statements are both equally ignorant to make in 2024. Unless were all gonna just base all of our opinions on trends from 30 years ago. You feel what I'm tryna say? And as far as the ANALYTICS SAYING that most the listens Nortenos garner are from southern California.. I'm not calling you a liar. BUT ID SERIOUSLY HAVE TO SEE CONCRETE BLACK AND WHITE EVIDENCE OF THAT. Im not taking anyone seriously who just SAYS THAT. so until someone can make a video proving that it's essentially null and void. Respectfully.
