That's a nice comfortable sentencing for him. Life (?20 years) in prison. A life for life? Somehow that doesn't seem right. Three meals a day, dry, comfortable residence, tv, mail, visits. Social contacts that he'd be used to. Justice done? I think the punishment should fit the crime in this case.

Even the humane way the death sentence would have been carried out is too light of a punishment imo, He should have to experience the same level of fear and physical pain that he inflicted on Laken. Rest in peace, Laken. God will finish this with true justice.😢

Mostly, will You give them Your Peace that passes ALL UNDERSTANDING so that they can continue to give others the reason they are Peace filled!! Big deal. He lives she died. Not much of a balance there. The DA who took the death penalty off the table done it after she was leaving office. She is a Hispanic DEI Democrat and too upholding the code of not subjecting preferential murderers of color to the death penalty this is just another example. If this was a White Male it would be fair to say the death penalty would have been on the table. She claims to be against the death penalty which is a predominant no death policy in Mexico but she could have left that decision go to the new DA that actually tried the case.

Woke Prosecutor SHEILA ROSS is the one responsible for taking the D-Penalty off the table in the Laken Riley case. She asked the Judge for a Life Sentence without the possibility of parole sentence instead. It appears Ms. Ross didn't think it was right that Laken's sister would have to fight for the next 40 years of litigation to keep José Ibarra in prison after her parents were no longer on Earth. A deserving D-Penalty sentence would have alleviated any further litigation, plus the cost of housing of this sorry excuse for a human.
