Ingredients:
3 lbs stew meat
1 stick butter
I packet au jus mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
6 pickled pepperoncinis
Method
•Preheat oven to 350*
•Place stew meat in single layer in a 9x13 dish
•Sprinkle mixes over meat
•Slice butter into pats and spread out over beef
•Spread peppers over beef
•Cover tightly with two layers of aluminum foil.
•Roast in oven for 90 minutes
•Take from oven and stir •check for tenderness and moisture level…adding water if necessary to produce a gravy consistency
•recover and return to oven for 30 minutes or more, until beef is tender
•remove peppers before serving over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes
Roasted garlic peas are a great side with this!
