Some flight companies always oversell tickets expecting some customers to cancel or be late. Happened to me once and I was told to wait for the next flight and I absolutely went mad and refused to do so. They eventually let me board my plane. Talking Arsenal, I think not buying Tierney and a CB will be a huge gamble. We can have a very good season outscoring most teams and end 3rd or our defence will let us down and we will end 5th or 6th.

DT and Robbie, if you like say or blog whatever you want to say about Mustafi, if Arsenal don't take care of sluggish Xhaka infront and the heart of our defence, we will always be experiencing the same problem. Xhaka hardly turn around to change the position of the ball, rather he will return it back from where it (ball) came from. I think with a good defensive midfilder infront other positions can be manageable for now until next window we can strengthen.

Robbie, they overbook planes ✈️ because some people are not going to be able to make that flight and the airlines don’t want to loose money on empty seats 💺. The ticket 🎫 sales help to raise money for that airline. This is especially common at peak times of the year E.G. Christmas at Summer Holiday seasons. (Hope this solves your problem about the plane being overbooked.)

wow so many overreacting over a preseason friendly. when you could clearly see we didnt go out there to win, anyone who knows football could tell from the start that this match was all about holding our defensive shape for aslong as we could while inviting pressure, while at the same time going on the counter when there was an opportunity. we held our shape well for most of the match and our counter was deadly even without laca and pepe. defensivly we did look better but still needs work. Honestly how could so many of you not see our gameplan......., it was so obvious what emery wanted the squad to do. Arsenal have had a problem with pressure for a while now and it looks like emery has been busy trying to fix that problem, thats why his instructions were to go out there, hold our shape and work on the counter. by the looks of it thats going to be our main gameplan this season, defensive shape with deadly counter. also explains why we prioritised a winger instead of a cb like pepe this window.

I mean look how long its taken pep and klopp to get their teams to what they are now. not to mention city spent like crazy. and they didnt have a club rebuild around them, wheras we do. Every airline will oversell flights because an amount people can be predicted not to turn up (heavy traffic, late connecting flights and the unforeseen). You're unlucky if everyone shows up for a fully booked flight. I was told Air France used to oversell by upto 13%. I've had 6 over night stays in Paris because of overselling. Clearly the hotel, meal and vouchers cost them much less than the extra money they make selling your seat a 2nd time.
