I wear my safety Crocs every time I am in my shop, especially the fuzzy ones ! As a now retired mechanic of 45 years I now buy and flip vehicles. I completely rehab them. I am OCD and meticulous in my work. I love that you "usually" are to !

Just love what you call a "cold start" Hmmmph! I once had a cold start for my band's bus. It was so cold the key wouldn't even turn in the ignition switch. I had to get out our hibachi, fill it with charcoal, put it under the oil pan to warm it up so we could get to the next show. Had to use three bags of charcoal and a metal shield above the hibachi. It took four hours until it would turn over enough to start! We made the show in spite of the weather giving us a cold start to the day. Just another day up in Canada (Northern Ontario to be exact). The temperature that day was 37 below Fahrenheit. Now that's a "cold Start" P.S. Love your channel and your work. Only problem I have is I don't see you replacing the oil drain plug gasket when you do oil changes. I'm an old Journeyman Partsman and the part number for the gasket from GM is 14090908, and that's from memory as I'm 81 years old and more than 15 years out of the business. I remember part numbers but not peoples names LOL! Don Good luck in the New Year, and have a Merry Christmas.

I worked on an aircraft under seat power supply design. The aircraft generator makes 115VAC 400 Hz that is transformer rectified to 28 VDC. The in seat supply converts 28VDC to 115VAC 60Hz, so your passenger power supply can convert to 5VDC USB cell phone or 5V laptop supply.
@TwinPeaksIndustries11 ай бұрын
So, why don't they just run the 115V 400Hz AC directly to the outlets? Modern switching PSUs can handle that just fine from what I know
