It's amazing how Bonham plays tight with Jones and accents everything Page is doing as he builds the guitar solo. It's amazing how intuitive he was and he always had that swing groove goin' on. He's totally into it. There's nothing like it. There was many live musical highlights during the bands performances throughout the years and this is one of them for sure.

As always I am blown away. The ghost notes on the bass, I never realized Bonzos soft touch. I have been playing it wrong. Please keep the video's going, I always learn something watching you play. And those cymbals, amazing!

I’ve been listening to this song for 45 years, until recently, I never knew he was playing a giant beat ride on this tour, after watching your videos I have seen the light and I understand now what he was using on all the different albums over all those years!!

I've done air guitar to this song so many times that I've lost count. The instrumental at the middle is Bonham, JPJ and Page at their absolute best.

This is a freakin' masterclass on how to play No Quarter in the School of Bonham! Just great George, and I was glad to be the 100th like of the video. Amazing dynamics, from the quiet ghost notes to the thunderous crashes. Such a highlight of what a genius Bonzo was. The kit also sounds epic George, cheers!

My god I thought I knew no quarter live Maddison square garden . Visually its all we have really, plus a few other concerts, Jason Bonham plays all the intricate pieces from those shows I. LOVE THAT... I tried to make my own video “studio version,” the problem is I gotta put the cue back in the rack now , that was unbelievable . What a brain you have to remember those parts like that. All the accents and changes, ghost notes dynamics and his feel. Bass drum to hand coordination and obviously the sound too the list goes on.., those drums sound great.what happens when you cover other bands do you buy another kit,,😀😀🤣 I’m glad someone gets it , my wife certainly doesn’t 😉

I’m just noticing the new snare head. I can definitely tell the difference from the old head. The old head was totally RAH, with this harmonic on the rimshots. This new head feels like less ring and overtones. Am I missing something? Lol. Huge and powerful nonetheless. As always, incredible play, great tones all around. I’m never disappointed.
@lundsean753 жыл бұрын
I agree don't hear the overtones much. Put on a new Emperor head. Maybe should have gone with a thinner head like an Ambassador?
@justhadrums3 жыл бұрын
I noticed too but still sounds amazing
@BONHAMOLOGY3 жыл бұрын
@@lundsean75 The old head was the same, a Vintage Emperor....keep in mind it was very worn, the coating was quite gone. This head is brand new and the coating will absorb some overtones. The more it's played , the more open it should sound. Also, I tightened it up a bit for this song so that also can reduce the harmonics.
