Bill, you’re killing it and I totally appreciate it and I can’t wait to get out there March 2026< just had hip surgery and getting ready to rock ‘n’ roll So a friend of mine and I are completely confused and intrigued by how are you getting those pictures from above you and all those different angles? Really appreciate you brother. Keep strong. You’re doing great and look forward to the rest of your trip. You can resupply (though somewhat limited) at the NOC… then maybe a bit at Fontana (Dam) Village

I've never watched a video taken on a 360 camera; where is your camera to get the different angles? I enjoy the short videos, but I could do without the shirtless shots. Thank you for your efforts to get a daily clip,

@@JuneKoenig lol, yeah, I guess nobody wants to look at a shirtless old man. Once you’ve been on the trail for a few weeks, your standard change a bit. Nonetheless, I suppose I won’t be working at Chippendales anytime.

I feel bad for you getting so wet and cold. Have you considered using a frog togs rain jacket / pants from Walmart? You can line your pack with a large trash bag too in order to keep contents dry.

Thanks for the recommendations. I don't think frog togs have enough ventilation and I tend to overheat and perspire with them. Yes, I have a packliner to keep my things in my pack dry but, my tent and whatever I'm wearing will get wet, especially when it's coming down all day long.

They are heavy, but you might consider a surplus old Military USGI Poncho, I hike with it, it drapes all the way to the ground and will keep you and your pack dry indefinitely through a torrential downpour

Much prefer climbing to descending. Hope your climb out of the NOC has been cleared of down trees. I did it following Hugo and no clearing had been done.
