25 years ago we went to Aguascalientes.. spent the nite and at 4am we started our hike at night to Machu Pichu...we arrived at daybreak , nobody at the guardhouse... we just walked in.. MP was empty...great experience.. looking at your video.. things have changed in 25 years..😂😂

I really don't know. It was dry season for us but not far from the wet season. Wet season is good if you want the stormy/misty feel, but you can get skunked and have it all fogged in, too. It will be lush green then. But dry seems good if you want a quick trip with better weather. We just took what we got when we passed through. Our schedule was more around hitting rivers in other areas. So, luck worked out for us.
