Looking forward to diving back into Wicked. Crucible wouldn't be my choice for first major content update as I really wanna see where they take the story. Still excited to see what the team has been working on.

Same… I’d love to continue with the story - I hit the pause button a while ago, hoping for a new area / lots of areas to open up…. Although, I do enjoy a good roguelite (Dead Cells… Deep Rock Galactic Survivor) - I’d still prefer the hardcore combat RPG mechanics with a large area, and big story (with multiple branching paths) to dig into and explore.

@@GingerPrimeGaming I think overall just the next chapter in this story. I really wanna see this become Moons "Lord of the rings". However multiplayer playthroughs would be so much fun so that is equal on my list I think.

@@GingerPrimeGaming I have to say I was most looking forward to continuing the RPG story and investigating, but after giving the Crucible a go, I have to say it's been most intriguing! the way they've implemented it has been amazing. In any case, I think they did increase the game size (opening up and realising existing areas of the story campaign)

I’m looking forward to playing NRFTW again but idk if expanding the Crucible will bring me back. Sad as it is to say, I never managed to beat the Crucible Knight. Maybe I’m using weapons that too heavy of commitment. That said, I think creating a game from an amalgamation of 2-4 games can be good. The combat and mandatory content are what the game targets. The rest of the content is what draws in the other players to try it out. Trying to appeal to everyone though just makes a game bad as you can’t make everyone happy. Best to stick with the target audience you are aiming for and pleasing them.

As someone who was really looking forward to the multiplayer update, I wonder how much fun this new crucible change will actually be. At this point, I really just want to play with friends.

I think I got lost in the frenzy. I thought we were going to be getting a rework of the current world with new secrets and areas to find within the content we already have. I thought all of this was coming at once. I mean at one point weren’t then kind of bouncing between crucible and world? I really thought they landed on fleshing out the current world zones *before* reworking the crucible. Or at least it was all coming at the same time? Somehow I played myself

Some of that has been hinted at, but that was a while ago and so I don’t want to get hopes up if that isn’t included my thoughts would be I hope it’s there but not going to expect it

From what has been communicated there might be more than just the crucible update, but I'm not trying to set false expectations as this has been what they've been saying, ultimately I hope for more, but it might be a function of time.

How do you have 80k subs? Are those mostly bot subs?

I make a lot of guide content as that’s something I enjoy so I get a lot of passive and consistent traffic. I also cover variety of games so I end up casting a wide net. Last bot purge KZbin did I saw maybe a 20-25 sub drop so I don’t think I have a large bot problem but you never know. I also have other channels that are growing too and my mmo channel is almost to 20k subs.

They’ve shared that they might do an early access launch on console but first they just want to focus on just one build for the time being. However as soon as that changes I’ll let you know

Personally think this was the wrong direction to go. Expanding on the world is significantly more important. I dropped 150 hours in to this game and am still a big fan, but I stopped playing over a month ago. A revamped dungeon isn’t nearly enough to bring me back. Don’t need or want an infinitely replayable game mode. World and story was always the big draw. Bit down on this :/

it's in early access with like a 2 year release window. nobody forced you to play 150 hours but I feel you I stopped at 30 but love the game and can't wait for more!

@@marcmuniz2119 the 150 hours was just to illustrate that I love the game and wasn’t here to be negative for negativities sake. I think building out the crucible should have come after the next content drop. Most players will have had their fill of the crucible by now. Even considering a massive overhaul, it doesn’t provide a reason to play more than a few times. There are other games that provide the roguelike experience to play. No other games were providing the world and story that this game has. Personally, it’s a misuse of time and resources given the current state of the game. But as I said, I love this game and am certain to spend hundreds more hours when the time comes. Im not down on the game or the studio, just down on this particular patch. Edit: Even that isn’t fair to say haha. I’m not even down on this patch. It’s more like I’m down on the order of operations they chose.
