I like the looks of these battle scenes. More like company action, instead of that shoulder-to-shoulder line of battle that was outmoded and rarely used after 1863.

Now I think I know where the 'creedmore' style of shooting originated. A wounded soldier could sit with his back against a tree and still fire his weapon against the enemy.
