No Roll Challenge 2023 - Super Auto Pets

One of the original SAP challenges that every was going mad for back at the end of 2021 was No Roll. It's very simple: you cannot click the Roll button even once during the entire run. This makes it incredibly RNG heavy in terms of finding useful stuff in the starting shop each turn, and at times you will be presented with shops where there's nothing you can buy at all! Way back I spent a huge amount of time working on this in Turtle Pack, so this time I thought I would give Golden a try instead...

Hey grounded, a build that could get some interesting clips would be egyptian vulture orca, you’ll get a faint pet, then activate the faint ability. Great job with no roll btw.

One of my favorite challenges to run is no-roll, no-freeze. It is highly luck-based, but I like the strategy aspect of working only with what you're given at the start of every turn. The closest I've gotten to a win is 9 trophies in turtle pack, back in December. I should pick it up again!

Yeah there's also the 1 shop slot variation which I've never tried and seems ludicrous. There's a SubOptimal vid of that that's worth looking up.

since fly is the only pet that can summon to the front (I think), multiple fly + snake in p2 could be interesting to get max snake shots

Back in the olden days if you had more than 1 fly they would all waste each other's triggers, but you're right this would work now.

Im sorry but isnt BOP literally perfect in this challenge? You can just buy and sell all 5 pets in your starting shops and get 2 guaranteed triggers every turn. Im genuinely confused.

Maybe I didn't explain it in much detail, but think about what you're committing to there. You can't roll so you can't manipulate the buffs to always land on the 3 keeper units. You're running a 4 squad when you're already at a huge disadvantage, and in order to accomodate the BoP plus buy/sell slot in the first place you've probably significantly downgraded your squad when you're already likely to be short on lives or on lethal. You're unlikely to be able to level the BoP fast enough for it to be relevant and so on and so forth. That doesn't mean it couldn't work if you got incredibly lucky with the starting shops leading up to tier 6, of course.
