We have towed with the Andersen Hitch full time for over 3 years now and have no complaints with it but now its time to go with a true goose neck style tow. We want to completely free up our truck bed space and what better way than having no hitch in your bed.
Its time to tow your fifth-wheel trailer with your gooseneck hitch and get the smooth, stable ride that only an air-ride-equipped coupler can deliver. This trailer coupler adapter has a built-in air bag that provides cushion and absorbs road shock.

Looking at the Gen-Y version. Currently only on bumper pull. Also looked at the B&W 5th wheel that drops into the goose neck square bed hole (like the goose ball).

Nope. Not for me anyways. It’s the only GooseNeck pinbox approved by Lippert who makes almost all frames…if that means anything to you. They’ve been taking some heat lately.

I wouldn't put my break-a-way cable that far back in your bed. You really want it to activate as soon as your hitch comes loose.

@@0707moto Ok so when going downhill and if the rig becomes detached then what? Trailer brakes never activate because the rig will be coming towards the cab...my point is there is no really good answer to this...but to me I think I'd go center of the bed area that way covered both directions as much as possible.
